Hello everyone, rainbowx1994 here. Any mods reading this, is this the correct place to post this thread?
I wanted to do this thread because why not...

Mythic items are items that I am pretty sure everyone wants. They are extremely rare while also capable of having some of the best damage in game. With a lot of mythic items to choose from, I might as well make a top 5 list of my favourite mythics.

Before I start, I just want to say 3 things:
    1. This list was really hard to make since there are quite a few mythics I like and it was a tough time deciding where to place some. Heck, a top 10 would be hard too.
    2. This could change later on with future builds and maybe future mythics if they decide to add new ones.
    3. Just because a mythic isn't on here, doesn't mean its bad or I hate it. This list is just my opinion.

Now with that said, lets begin.

    Honorable mentions list.
Wanted to include a few here that I really like, but just didn’t make it to the top 5.

    • Weathered: If I expanded this list to 10, this would probably be #6. I used this weapon before and really like it. Lots of walk speed and agility makes this dagger pretty fun.
    • Stratiformis: When like 89% (I think it was before the buff) wasn’t fast enough, they had to give it even more. Nice damage while being sanic.
    • Gurdian: I wanted to include a fire elemental mythic on this and my favorite is guardian. One of the earliest mythics I used and nice tankiness, though it could use a little more damage. I mostly included it here for memories using it a lot.
    • Singulatrity: Haven’t used this one but looks fun. The description box for it looks funny if you powdered it to the max. Did I mention this thing has 15 powder slots?
    • Idol: I personally find this mythic underrated and has some potential for good damage, especially since it can get curse.
    • Slayer: Wanted to throw in mythic boots so here you go. Nice thunder damage. The only downfall is that negative health regen. That can be patched up though with hephaestus-Forged greaves or something else with health regen.
    • Alkatraz: Super Melee damage, but theres another melee damage I like better which you will see on my top 5.

Now here is my top 5 favourite mythics:

    • 5. Discoverer. This might not be a mythic item for pvp, but I love this mythic summed up in 2 words: loot running. I spend a lot of time loot running and just needed to get one. I don’t even use a loot bonus helmet and boots and I still get over 300% loot bonus. If you want to buy one, they can get quite expensive. I have 152% on mine and paid 15.5 stacks for it. Good luck trying to even get one with max loot bonus. That is something priceless.
    Budget version: Diamond dust

    • 4. Gaia. I was given a really good melee build that originally had Alkatraz for it. However. I thought of trying the same build with Gaia, but with a few tweaks. Why do I like Gaia over Alk for Melee? Well, despite not having as crazy damage as Alk, Gaia still does a huge amount. You can do the stuff with mage like healing yourself and teleporting away from enemies which makes Gaia so good. For a melee build it depends what you want. Do you want more damage and can give yourself warrior buffs (alkatraz) or more survivability with healing (gaia)? I could share this spot with Alkatraz, but I just like Gaia more. Oh yeah, you also get a lot of poison with Gaia so theres a bonus.
Also @WynnChairman mentioned the 10-block range and hitbox I forgot to mention too.
    Budget version: Compiler.

    • 3. Thrundacrack. Was originally my favorite mythic, until I used 2 other mythics. Tcrack is probably the best mythic spear in my opinion. While not as great of doing spells DPS wise like archer and assassin, Thrunda still does amazing damage and I highly recommended it to anyone using warrior because of how good it is and its actually not as expensive as some other mythics. Oddly enough, curse can work so well on this weapon and the spell potential for this mythic should not be underestimated. However, theres is yet another thunder mythic I like more.
Budget version: Wick or Hive Spear

    • 2. Cataclysm. Do I even need to say why this weapon is so good? 20K spins. There you go. The damage on this thing is just insane. Yes it has that annoying negative health, but really, why should it matter when even with a tank build you are still doing crazy amounts? Like Discoverer, prepare to pay a lot for this mythic.
Budget version: Thrunda Ripsaw or Hive Dagger

    • 1. Spring. Thrundacrack was originally my favourite, until I used this beauty. Everything, from its spamming abilities, to its damage, is just so good and one of the best weapons in the game period. I mean, how is that bad for you? You can give yourself speed if you need to be faster. Spammable high damage arrow bombs and lots of Mana Regen to boot. You get curse so theres more damage. Putting on things like libra can make you more tanky and still do awesome damage. Despite the silly 15 Strength requirement and it being expensive, I really can’t think of anything hugely negative about this weapon. Its not super fast attack speed, but it doesn’t need to be. This is what every mythic should be. Something special for you to use that is powerful after achieving an item so rare.
Budget version: Torrential Tide or Hive Bow

Theres my top mythic list. Tell me your top favorite mythics if you feel like it.

Holy crap a top mythics list that actually has reasons why they are put onto the list. Its beautiful.
On a side note, what one do you personally recommend, Weathered or cataclysm? I'm kind of at a crossroads at deciding which one to work towards.

Cataclysm is very expensive and weathered, while still a lot, isn't as expensive.
If you want to 1 shot and plow through like 90% of mobs, use cata. If you want to have fun with speed and high agility, use weathered.

imo what really puts gaia over alka for me isnt the fact that it can heal or use mage spells or any of that, its just the nature of mages melee attacks. it has a range of about ten blocks with a crazy huge hitbox plus you can attack through walls. and also not having 120 strength req lol

anyways even though I've only used 2 mythics ever (pure and freedom) I'd probably say these if I was gonna use them:
    5. Gaia (Melee mage I find fun tbfh)
    4. Spring (YEEEEEEEEEEET)
    3. Inferno (Extremely underrated weapon that seems like it would be fun to play around with)
    2. Thrunda (Spell thunder charging yeet)
    1. Gma (Big Boi Rage Aboose)

    1. Divzer: Favorite so far, insane damage combined with insane glassiness is a constant great adrenaline rush, and it's amazing
    2. Cataclysm: Its damage is addicting af, it's super potent as well and overall just a really good weapon, + you can gawk at your 40k spins. It's a divzer for assassins essentially
    3. Grandmother: Once again, it's all about that insane damage, imagine it as earth Divzer lite edition; not as glassy, but nowhere near the same ballpark of damage. Rage abuse is also really fun and focus intensive, which gives it that similar feel to divzer's squishiness
    4. Freedom: It's high mana and survivability makes it really fun to play around with, you can do things archer's can't normally do and make plays around it's really refreshing. It gives alot of options to mess around, overall insanely versatile and gives the user a ton of freedom (pun kinda intended?) to do what they want and really use archer to the fullest.
    5. Gaia hard to decide between grim or gaia, but gaia carpal tunnel was so much fun, I had to put it here. Not only was the dps insane, but the overall gameplay of running around thwacking stuff with your big, color shifting wood was pretty awesome.

Infused hive spear is the closest you can get to thrunda since it's the only other one that can technically be considered a full thunder spear besides like feedback or something since wick isn't full thunder (that air % damage tho lel)
hive dagger and black (even though black isn't full thunder but still) are usually better than thrunda ripsaw in most scenarios although yeah ripsaw is legit a bootleg cata
