Ceridwen cries out and stumbles backwards. In the explosion of pain, she directs a sharp mental jab at the man backed with all of her ire.

 

She whispers at him,
"You don't want to do this, Investigator. Without me or the hospital, those in need of medical attention will go untreated. You are killing dozens, perhaps even yourself."

 

"I don't see why you would want to keep a witch alive," Samuel Sewall the Crusader murmurs.
The rest nod in agreement.

That will practically make the gun user unconscious.
The man with the fancy clothes (no longer suit since time logic and whatever) is visible in the crowd with a gun. Everyone suddenly stops rushing at Ceridwen and wait.
The man points the gun at Ceridwen.
"You can either leave, or die. Which do you choose?"

The man pushes Eliza down onto the floor and takes aim.

Shit, as he pushes Eliza to da floor, summon in Fier Sarma arrow already nocked and shoot the gun out of his hands. Don't shoot his hand, just the gun... and even if it doesn't fall out of his grip, the arrow will break the gun... and Kayla has the accuracy to pull that off.

Okay after taking the shot desummon Iron String and back off out of sight on the rooftop.

Store the jacket in the Duat and summon in the black cloak.

I stare Myr in the eye and say "Well. I suppose we have some conflicting thoughts on that topic. I've never hidden my stance from anyone here - every witch needs to either leave the town, or die. And at the moment? Both of you are looking like witches."

As the man pushes Eliza down to the floor, an arrow from the roof of the building opposite to the hospital hits the center of the gun and takes it out of the Investigator's hands. The arrow shoves itself into the ground with the gun pinned to it, broken too.
"Balderdash!" the Investigator Deodat Lawson yells.
The sheriff John Willard looks over sadly.
"That was my gun..."
"Some pillion archer decided to tarnation break it!" Deodat snaps.

 

This would be a point where I should honestly ask about the cloth covering your eyes but I'm paying more attention to @HowToZombie's response.
