"Only enough to figure out what the situation is. I figured I would leave the detective work up to the detective."

I didn't realize you brought a light. The room you were in was fairly normal, with only one exception. The doorways all had metal gates over them rather than doors, all open.

I smack my lips a bit as I turn to Peppermint.

I click my pen just for dramatic effect, and open to a blank page of my journal. I also take out the simple golden medallion which was tucked under my coat.

I walk over to the witnesses.

 

I'll do the same, but walk the other way. So we meet in the centre, kinda.

 

I take out my journal and pen, and follow as well.

"I'm guessing we'll split up and talk to different witnesses? We don't want to overwhelm them, naturally."

So, like any normal person, the witnesses all have names. BUT... I will usually refer to them by a different title. Each one has a distinct job, and therefor a unique outfit. Here is the list:

Gardener
Lawyer
Doctor
Magician
Mercenary
Coordinator
Mechanic
Forward (football player)
Lucky Guy

 

"Of course, it might not hurt for both of us to speak with each, as we might ask differing questions."
