Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Alright, whatever." Fable says, glancing towards the top of the staircase.

 

Sunlight pours through, moss and weeds visible around the top. Katie exits the cave, taking a long breath.

 

"Correct. If he's not here, I'll just wander around myself. This place is big, so enough to explore."

 

Fable looks around, staying somewhat close to Katie.

Where’d you start, even? Go around town or in the wild?

 

There's mostly empty fields around, though angelic figures can occasionally be seen in the sky. A house can be seen in the distance, and mountains line the horizon. Katie turns around and heads to the edge of the cliff, looking over it at the ocean.

 

"Start were we left off. So, the park."

 

Fable glances rhythmically between where Katie is, the angelic figured, and the empty fields.
“Anything in particular you’re looking for?”

Well, we may as well start now. Not like it’s hard to see him, if he comes.

 

"Oh, sorry, I was just enjoying the view. It's so nice up here." Katie says happily.

 

Fable keeps quiet.
“You know, I don’t think I’ve seen any of these Earth guardians running around back at home. Them and air, if those are a thing.”

 

"I don't think your reality has Guardians. There's one type for each element, as well as hybrids." Katie says positively.

 

"Yeah."

He starts heading towards the park, if he even knows which way it is.

 

“We don’t, but some have come in and done... whatever the hell is you’re doing. Fighting someone, I guess.”

You can see the park from your current location, which makes it an easy straight shot... except for the tour group passing by. It’d be best not to get caught up with them.

 

I'll wait for them to pass by. When they're gone, I'll head for the entrance of the park.

 

Could you not.

 

"We're fighting the hive master and the gods he controls." Katie says happily, remaining positive about the horrors of war.

He continues building up the wall, trying to clog the tunnel and then thicken the wall.

 

Clogging the tunnel might not be the best idea, considering there's now only one other way out.
To reinforce the cavern walls to prevent magma flow, you'll have to compromise the strength of the wall.

"Do you know his actual name, or am I just going to pretend to understand?"

After a couple minutes of standing around and letting your feet get a bit sore, you're in the park.
It still feels odd not having Sgavrinn with you.

 

"I don't. He's really bad though!" Katie says.

 

Fable rolls her eyes.
“What’s he even using his army of slaves for, anyways?”
