Then the archer disappears and the battlestaff user turns into a guy with black wings.

An angel.

Then the angel disappears in a heap of smoke...

A More General Yet Informational File About Angels - Lakrow

After reading the file, you can tell Lakrow was acting this was more of a journal thing than an official report.

Here is a more interesting take on the Guardian Angel Race.

You may imagine Angels as those holy divine protectors that protect us humans from all our devils.

They're just like humans.

There are good angels, there are bad angels.

Good or bad, these angels live in the Angel Sky Islands, different from the Sky Islands attached to Earth which is home of the Natura Sanctus.

Not much is known about what is on these islands, due to not many humans, or any at all ever being on them.

So let's go over other things and skip over the "staff shortage" that the Guardian Angels have when fighting the divine unholy threats and having someone to actually protect from more Earth like threats.

The Angels are more like humans then you may think, and I mean relationship wise. And they're more commonly visible on the Earth than you may think. Angels can have their own goals, their own ambitions, their own love lifes just like humans. They aren't bound to one goal like the Catholic angels (OOC: I am Catholic. This is my take on an outsider's approach on Catholic beliefs) who serve God.

Take the angel Columba for example. Her goal is to make her protectee happy no matter the cost, no matter the deaths. An angel of love, causing mass murders and cursing another Angel, an individual of her own race.

Take Robin for example. Her goal is to hunt down the Bird Watchers. It's quite evident she's deeply offended by that group. And you can also take Passer and Robin for example, they are what kids call nowadays, a "ship."

Same can be said with the angels Noctua and Aquila, another "ship."

The Angel race is more human than we think.
