Ok lets do a full analysis, comparing current price with the selling price of 6-8months ago:

Mythics which prices increased:
- Pure: 64le top to 2sx top (godly 3sx) .... buffed
- Freedom: 4sx to 10sx avg ... buffed
- Grandmother: 3.5sx to 5sx avg ... buffed (also peaked at 10sx right post the buff for a week)
- Inferno: 3sx to 5sx
- Weathered: 7sx to 8sx (buffed?)
- Boreal (buffed....)
- Crusade Sabatons (buffed....)
- Slayer (buffed....)
- Galleon (buffed....)

Mythics which prices decreased:
- Gaia: 9sx to 6sx avg
- Lament: 9sx to 5sx avg
- Monster: 6sx to 3.5sx avg
- Stratiformis: 130sx top to 25sx top ... even if it was buffed .... 2 times
- Alkatraz: 5sx to 3sx
- Thrundacrack: 7sx to 5sx
- Cataclysm: 35sx to 20sx
- Grimtrap: 8.5sx to 6.5sx avg

Mythics which prices are stable:
- Fatal
- Az (price increased post buff and went back down on nerf)
- Ignis
- Spring
- Hero (not sure)
- Idol (not sure)
- Archangel
- Nirvana
- Discoverer
- Warchief (lol)

Mythics that can't be categorized:
(new mythics that price is following a normal line of "expensive when new, price slowing adjusting/going down")
- Singularity (22sx top to 14sx current)
- Warp (40sx top to 20sx avg now)
- Divzer (45sx top to 16sx now)
- Nullification (15sx top to 10sx now)
- Collapse (15sx top to 8sx now)




...so .... I don't see any significant increase in price that is not justified by a buff ... if inflation was real shoudn't almost all mythics have price increased?

 

the fact that they cost a couple of stacks is proof enough of inflation, the strongest weapons in the game used to cost 20le back in the day.

 

so you think an extremely hard to get mythic should be worth less than the LE you get from levelling a class from 1 to 98 and doing quests?

 

3 years ago I was sold a white horse for 40 LE.

Current white horse prices are around 70-80 LE last time I checked.

White horse production costs around 100, 110 (I believe) LE on average.

The fact that sell value is a lot lower than production value already indicates a problem. This isn't real life, white horse shouldn't lose it's value, especially considering the demand.

Duping harmed the economy, badly. If pumpkins and horses dropped so much in price, it's plausible to believe stacks upon stacks of duped LE entered the game that shouldn't have. God knows how many instances of duping occurred trough out the years. Duping was a real slap into the face towards honest players and one of the reasons which ruined the game for me.

 

white horse value is only dropping because of one reason:
corrupted decrepit sewers
cause chestnuts are less than 10% the cost of white production values and nobody’s gonna pay 110 le just for 5 levels so they do cds to get 35/35 chestnuts and that’s enuf for most peeps
blame that
so either add a 45/45 white or remove cds

They should cost a bit more, but not by so much.

White horse prices are low because of an influx of horses from vip town.

And all the duped horses ... they didn't drop 15-20le in february cause of vip town...

So the choice to get a mythic would either be:
- Lootrun 5000 chests
- or Kill 100,000 mobs (considering some lootbonus)
- or spend 2 weeks levelling 2 classes and doing high level quests .....

(and btw, you can already buy warchief pure archangel with "a bit more than a class quests le rewards")

 

And the effects are still felt today, people sell the whites a bit higher than vip town prices. New people who sell whites won't be able to sell them for the breeding price because the buyers will but the cheaper vip town price whites. The price is rising slowly until it will get to a bit over the breeding price

Any ideas for solutions then? Cause simply adding money sinks doesn’t seem to work. The overall goal is to stop inflation and lessen the gap between the poor and the rich, no?
