    Thing is you have to let new players get emeralds, but that way more emeralds are entering the economy.
    Most emeralds enter through quests so they can't be meddled with

    I like the idea of taxes
    haha yeah, as I said earlier I'd like to see food added, and make horses (and other pets) require food to be kept alive... I think it'd also be neat if horses could like actually die if you're a dumbass, and do things like walking off cliffs with them, but that's just me

    I think quests should be the main source of emeralds, but I do think that the amount should decrease personally... I also feel like it would be a good idea for majority of current mobs to not drop emeralds. For example, why would Ocelots have emeralds to drop? I feel like only humanoid mobs, that could have at one point been a part of society and have a reason to have emeralds should drop them, cause 1. it makes sense and 2. it would help the emerald influx a tiny bit

    Honestly I'm more of a saving type of person, but I do LI with friends a lot so that 12EB turns into like an LE of runs, and I do use skill pots so... I would say on the days that I run LI, I use 2-4LE? I think it's hard to say how much someone spends per week since you don't always do the same thing every day, but yeah. For me, LI + potions cost me the most since I'm not stupid enough to gamble a stack of LE on horses (aka my friend). I keep a lot of scrolls so occasionally I have to restock so that costs me maybe... an LE every month or two?

    Someone recently did a poll on how much people on, and a lot of people had less than a stack. But then the economy seems worsened because there are those people that have stacks upon stacks (aka there's a huge gap between the poor and the super rich), which is probably because they have a plethora of mythics or because they themselves have rich friends. I think that the economy is exacerbated because of the few who trade mythics (and the prices go up due to more mythics being found and of course, the money sinks not being efficient enough to compensate for emerald hoarders like me) and then the people who can't afford mythics due to the prices rising on mythics from those few (or lucky).

    Also on the food thing, yeah I'm actually all for that. That one food suggestion was really cool and actually pretty useful and not just another thing you have in your inventory. Also, I don't think I'd really like horses to die (I'm sorry but seriously, it would hurt the newer players and people who can't afford to gamble for a new horse.), but perhaps pets that can help you fight (like the pets used to pre-EULA) mobs? Buy them at certain cities or something, and you have to spend money to like, feed them, or if they "die" during combat, you can "heal" them or something. I'm getting off track there, but yeah.

    It wouldn't be like "omg your horse is just fucked", it would just be a possible thing if you dont take care of it. Or maybe a better idea is your horse can get tired and occasionally needs to rest and be fed?

    Mmh, I still wouldn't really like that for a horse, but I get the general idea. I do think that it would be more useful for something less... vital? than a horse. Running around Wynn without a horse is seriously annoying, and having to check to see if your horse is malnourished is... not something I'd like to see happen, but that's just me.

    Horses arent vital... 3/4 of the classes have movement spells that majority of the time can go even faster than horses... And you wouldn't have to check, it would show the speed going down... For example, if you have a 40/40 white horse, and you don't feed it or let it rest, the total speed goes down. You can still ride it in a pinch, it's just slower. See the original thread post for the idea. Also suggested player sleep.

    Ah yeah, I think I may have confused it for a different horse suggestion, sorry. But movement spells = mana, and warriors don't do well going vertically (unless you spam charge upwards, and again, mana), and then there's still Assassin. Spell spam Mage/Warrior, Archer in general, and ws builds are basically the only things really faster than a horse but horses are better going up hills and just generally traveling.

    I'm currently doing a "legit" class with my friend (can't use previous bank items/weapons), and I gave him my free brown so he could get a black, and he's probably still a bit faster than me due to me getting stuck in trees or other blocks with escape and also just straight up sprint bar, plus mana limitations.

    No. This, while balancing out the economy, provides too many strains on mandatory things that are annoying to deal with, and feel out of keeping with the rest of the game. I, and many others, would quit if these changes came to pass.

    Still, your horse isnt completely gone. You just gotta buy food for it and let it rest when youre not using it.

    First, shouldn't this be in suggestions?

    Second, from what I can tell, the economy is doing better than last year. I heard of people selling mythics for 50 stacks, now it's rare for me to find someone selling for 20 stacks. Or am I wrong? I'm fairly new.

    So your solutions are just emerald drains... Be a bit more creative...
    Let's just make a new item and call it somthing like Ruby Crystals.
    And make it that you can buy things from the store for Ruby Crystals like pets and crates.
    And while you can convert Emeralds into Ruby Crystals You cannot convert them back.
    Also make sure you give the store items a relativly high price

    Example:
    Ruby merchant
    1000 Emeralds -> 1 Ruby Crystal (Untradeable)

    Bomb Merchant
    5 Ruby Crystals -> 1 Party Bomb
    15 Ruby Crystals -> 4 Party bombs
    50 Ruby Crystals -> Random pet
    30 Ruby Crystals -> 1 Item Bomb
    60 Ruby Crystals -> 2 Item Bombs
    100 Ruby Crystals -> 2 Dungeon Bombs
    170 Ruby Crystals -> 4 Dungeon Bombs

    Crate Merchant
    16 Ruby Crystals -> 1 I Crate
    32 Ruby Crystals -> 1 II Crate
    64 Ruby Crystals -> 1 III Crate
    128 Ruby Crystals -> 1 IV Crate

    This example is really incomplete but you get the idea

    This isn't a suggestion, it's a question and I'm just cataloging some ideas in the thread. And I don't really think it's getting better... Perhaps I'm wrong though, any more experienced players feel free to comment, I don't participate in the market enough

    1. Mmm, everyone always complains about inflation, the fact the item prices are constantly changing and getting more and more expensive (inflation again), etc. Really just inflation. It widens the gap between old and new players significantly.
    2. See the previous message I sent
    ________________________________
    I have no problem with this being implemented at all, but I also don't see it being implemented. Also a crystal should cost 1 le imo, should be expensive.

    What you're suggesting is for every lvl range. Most of the le comes from high lvled people

    High leveled people don't actually generate LE, considering over half the community cssts from 71-100 and dont bother doing quests..

    I think this is the fourth time I posted this:

    TL:DR Inflation in MMOs is completely inevitable because the only way for players to get money is to create it instead of circulating it like in a real economy. Although money sinks help, they aren’t completely effective and too many money sinks make the game frustrating. People don’t play games just to pay bills.

    While we could just switch to a different currency, it still ignores the fundamental problem and ends up pushing down the problem further. Not to mention all of the quests and vendors that would have to be reworked and the frustration of rich players now being poor.

    walk speed is a thing lmao
    also there will be more problems if they were added. For example, there are people with just 10-ish le, when there are also people who have 10-ish stacks of le. One of the example is the food from merchants. Since you said it was a constant requirement, the poor ones can't afford those (probably the 10 le ones) when rich people (with 10-ish stacks of le) doesn't think that was money. That can probably further screw up the economy, but not fixing it.

    tax collector is the best money sink but the worst idea
    you know why
    many people will just quit, remember, zentrela is rising
    inn = housing so nty
    food is a good idea
    horse food’s also pretty good imo
    the undead miner thing isn’t too bad, so maybe something like others drop LESS but not NO emeralds. yeah
    decrease emeralds found in loot chests may also be a good idea, i sometimes find 3eb in a t3 loot chest, and that’s a lot

    No, no, no.
    1. This will just be tedious
    2. This will remove say 1le each month from everyone in avrange?? THAT MEANS EVERYONE GETS POORER BY A CONSTANT AMOUNT, SO THE POORER IS EVEN POORER
    E.x. One guy has 11le, another 10 stacks and 1 le
    After this change, both lose 1 le monthly
    Next month, the 11 guy has 10 so he lost 1/11 of his moneys and the 10stax guy lost 1/641 of his le.
    Seem fair?
    Also timothy is that you?
