Ceridwen finds herself coming from out of the woods and on one of the paths of the town, head towards the tavern.
She's able to spot several red markings on a couple of the houses passing by.
Markings that say...
The Mafia was here.
None of you are safe.
Submit to the Mafia or die.
Ceridwen reaches the tavern and enters it.
The tavern is filled up to the max. Full of people bussling around and drunk talking about a spectrum of different topics.
The Mafia.
The Coven.
The witch Trials.
Politics.
You notice an odd hole in the wall, one that wasn't there before.
A bullet hole.
Sure, there are other bullets holes in the wall but this one is dead straight through and a bigger bullet too.

Reina finds herself in an alleyway, near the markets next to the farms.
The sight of all the food is tempting, esspecially with the fact that Reina stomach is growling fiercely.
She wouldn't want to go into that state...
Reina notices something shiny out of the corner of her eye.
A newling to the town brandishing a gun, with a much bigger barrel than normal.
An oppurtunity, perhaps?
A way out?

Kayla finds herself strolling in the town square where several officers, investigators, and trusted town members were all standing in a circle looking down at something on the floor.
Kayla isn't able to see what they're looking down at and so she puts the hood of her silver cloak up, walks into one of the alleyways, and then climbs up onto the rooftop getting a better angle.
She ends up on top of the Jail building and it seems the group is looking down at a red skull drawn in the exact center of the square.
A red skull that wasn't there before.
A message.
"Who are you!" a man's voice yells out from behind her.
Kayla turns around to find a man with a gun pointing it at her.
Either the Jailor, or a Sheriff, doing their job and guarding the jail.

Myr finds herself near the farms, a little distance away from the markets.
The town is bussling as usual, no one noticing the girl with the bandages over her eyes.
Maybe that was for the best...
Myr notices something shiny out of the corner of her eye.
There was a newling to the town brandishing a gun, with a much bigger barrel than normal.
Maybe you should leave?

Eliza finds herself walking over towards the hospital.
Many of the townfolk seemed to avoid her but nothing much could be done about that.
Along the way, Eliza passes by a couple of houses, with several windows evidently broken by gunshots.
Maybe it would be good to investigate... but she had to get to work.
Eliza walks to the hospital, where she finds yet another broken window evidently broken by a bullet.
She goes inside to find nobody... but a hanging corpse from the ceiling.

I turn my head back at the food for a moment before moving towards the newling. Just walking- too tired to run too much.

Investigate. Is there someone in the hole’s trajectory? Any shady people I could read? If not go to the other side of the wall and check the area.

 

He is not coming to Myr.
He is about 20-30 ft away from Myr and not looking at Myr.
He is currently in a conversation with another of the townfolk who have a stand of vegetables so it seems.

People start to avoid Reina when she walks onto the street.
However, the newling does not notice Reina when she walks towards him.
He doesn't seem to notice her when she walks in 5 ft from him.

21 ft and 5.6 inches exact.

If the bullet were to be shot now, the bartender would be dead but no one else in in it's path.
There don't seem to be any shady people to read so Ceridwen goes to the other side of the wall which is conveniently an alleyway.
There isn't much other than a load of scraps, broken bottles, dirt, and trash in the alleyway.

 

I call out.
"Excuse me?..."

 

Walk around him. See if there's any cover I can get.

Does this alley connect directly to a street both ways or is there a shady corner I can turn to further look around?

Is there anywhere where Kayla can drop down and not be noticed by anyone else while having an easy way to run away?

 

The man doesn't seem to hear Reina and continues to converse with the merchant.

You can probably get some cover by walking behind a couple of the buildings, a couple of the stands in the market, or maybe that one alleyway nearby.

Connects to a street both ways.

One of the streets is less as busy than the other. You can drop in one of two streets or the square.

 

Aight, if there’s really nothing in the alley then Ceridwen will head out into the street around front of the tavern. Though keep an eye out for shady edgelords as always.

I move around so that I'm in their line of sight.

Kayla jumps off the building into the less busy road turning her fall into a foward roll before standing up keeping her hood up and running off down the street.

 

Ceridwen goes to the street in front of the tavern.
Three very well dressed men walk into the tavern.
Now that's shady.

The salesman backs off away.
The newling doesn't seem fazed... of course, they're new to the stand.
They twirl their gun.
"May I help you?"

A gunshot goes off as Kayla jumps off the building.
A couple nearby people scream when they see Kayla drop from the roof of the building and land with a forward roll.
"After them!" the Jailor/Sheriff yells.
No one seems to pursue Kayla though as she runs down the street taking a right and taking down her hood to be less suspicious and blend in a little bit more.
She can hear a couple people running behind her and she turns to see three people, including the Jailor/Sheriff all with guns out and frantically scanning the crowd.
Kayla looks back in front of her and walks away turning onto another street.
She lost them.
Kayla suddenly feels a hand on her right shoulder.
Oh nevermind.

 

"Yes!"
"How strong is that?"
I point at the gun.

*slurps*
*Leans in to whisper into her ear*
"Why hello there..."
"Fancy meeting someone like you here..."
"How about we go to my house and have a little chat, ehh?"
