    I mean this was literally fixed ONE DAY after a map push happened.

    I understand you're wayyyyy too far in to push it now but still

    The last time we released an update that allowed us to push the map was on the 15th of December, 2017.

    The first bug report we got about hidden city being broken was on the 22nd of March, 2018. 96 whole days afterwards. We wouldn't halt progress of the game for over 3 months just to make sure an update is bug free.

    Meanwhile, a code update was released on the 20th of March, making a change to how entity selectors work in command blocks, which was what broke Hidden City to begin with. If you remember, a huge fiasco happened upon it's release, and the whole server was unplayable for a couple of days.

    Let's put it like this: A CT member (especially a QA member like Aarontti) knows where priorities are and how difficult it can be to "fix" things quickly. He has actual insights in CT stuff, so if he says it would cause a ruckus then it will most definitely.

    And yeah I recall the fiasco back then. Apart from the horrendous teleporting and the obliteration of getting dragged out of stuff, the bouncy castle thing was funny though. Every now and then seeing people just getting launched was somewhat amusing... not so much for other people I guess.

    Well, I consider "minor patch/minor update" a map push. basically when the game gets updated from what it was previously is a map push to me; for example. March 26 when Qira got revamped.

    I see the hidden city report and on march 27th the bug got fixed and said a ct said it would be live with the next map push.

    so uh yeah

    But that's not what they are. I could say, I consider 1=2, but that doesn't suddenly make 1+1=4, I would just be wrong when trying to communicate with people
