Welcome to the year of 1692, February
The year of the Salem witch trials.
The roleplay will be taking a couple days or a day before the first witch execution.

Welcome to the Town of Salem!
It's a magical place.
(Anyone get that reference?)
Where the Town prospers at day discussing who to lynch.
And the Mafia, Coven, Vampires, and all the other evils run rampant at night.
In the Town of Salem, there always seems to be a death every night and so in the day, there is a period of time of where the town gathers together and discusses who the potential evils are and who they can possibly lynch. Yet all these meetings always end in chaos.
Who will you be in this town of havoc?
A part of the town trying to rid of all the evildoers in this town?
A part of the Mafia causing chaos and mob hysteria in the town?
A part of the magical Coven group of witches driving to take over the town?
Or a neutral lone wolf planning to achieve their own goals.
Who will you be and what will you do?

The main groups in this town:

Spoiler: The Town

The Town is the majority, and they wish to lynch all the evildoers with their resources.
However, no one knows who each other is and it's hard to come by trust these days.

Spoiler: The Mafia

The Mafia, the criminal organization in this town will kill anyone who doesn't submit to the Mafia.
They are one of the bigger groups of the town but not the majority.
The Mafia always commit their murders, and actions at night sending chaos in the town.
No one knows who the Mafia comprise of.

Spoiler: The Coven

The Coven are a small group of witches who's desires are to get revenge on the town.
Everyone in the group of witches has been made fun of for their whole lives and their revenge involves killing everyone in their path with a special Necronomicon that enhances their powers.
Fyi, everyone in the Coven is a female but you do not have to make your character a female if you wish for your character to have magical powers.

Spoiler: The Vampires

The Vampires are a secret group... a group who goes out for blood biting others in the town taking them to a new life, the transformation into a Vampire.
The Vampire Hunter of the town finds Vampires unholy and wishes to rid of all the Vampires in the town.

Spoiler: Significant Neutrals

There are several major Neutrals in this town.
The Serial Killer, who wishes to kill everyone in the town.

The angry Werewolf, who wishes for blood every full moon.

The Arsonist, a mad pyromancer who wishes to set fire to the town.

The Juggernaut, who gets stronger after every kill, and wishes to be unstoppable.

The Plaguebearer, who wishes to spread the plague among the town.

The Pirate, who wishes to simply gain a crew and make moola lol.

(Of course, there are other Neutrals like the Guardian Angel, Executioner, Jester, Survivor, Amnesiac, etc. but they aren't as out there and obvious as these killing roles).

Application and Limits:
Everyone in the Coven is a female but you do not have to make your character a female if you wish for your character to have magical powers.
You may at the start be apart of any faction, good or evil.

Town Meetings and Lynchings take place from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The Town Hall (Almost dead center [Mayor's work office])
The Central Square (Dead Center [Where lynching and town meetins take place])
The Jail (Somewhere near the center of the town)
The Bar (Near the Center of the town)
The Apothecary (Outskirts)
The Hospital (Near the Center of the town)
The Sheriff's Building (Near the Center of the town)
The Farm (Outskirts)
The Tavern (Outskirts)
The School (ish) (A little far from the center of town)
The Cemetery (Outskirts)
The Church (Close but not in the outskirts)

Question: Are our roles in this community limited by normal ToS rules?
EX: No more than 4 maf/coven, no 2 werewolves, etc.

 

They aren't.
I can't fit what you can consider 5 factions in only 15 people.
The town is a much bigger population.

Unique roles will no longer be unique unless it's Jailor or Mayor.
You cannot be a unique role or the leader of a faction.
Meaning you cannot be Jailor, Mayor, Godfather, Coven Leader, or the oldest Vampire.
We are basically completely ditching the original ideas of the game and making it more realistic.
