Llevigar Is Inter-provincial

When you enter Gavel, you see the "you are now entering Llevigar" before you see the "you are now entering Gavel" thing, and the reverse is true for exiting through the large gates.

Because there's a small section of land where it is Llevigar but it isn't Gavel, that means Llevigar has territory both in and out of Gavel.

Therefore, Llevigar is inter-provincial.

There is no [You are exiting the Wynn Province] message. Therefore everything is wynn and gavel is a province itself inside of a super province.

 

Then how can there be a [You are now entering the Wynn Province]?

 

That doesn't change the fact you are not exiting whenever you enter gavel and that wynn is the ultimate province conquerer

 

you're not exiting when you leave Gavel either, are you?

 

You are, unless you're walking backwards, or going through Jofash docks

 

Does it actually give a message? I've never seen it.

 

So that means everything on the map is part of wynn, but not all of wynn is everything on the map

I'd say that that means that the borders of the Wynn Province are a bit murky and ambiguous. Gavel has a clear physical barrier separating it from the ocean, but Wynn is different. Is the peninsula separating Wynn and presumably Fruma part of Wynn? What about Selchar - it behaves like it's part of Wynn and it's a sister city to the capital of the Wynn Province and yet it's in the middle of the ocean. What about the other peninsula behind Bremminglar? What about Nemract Docks - they're technically in the ocean. It's a bit difficult to define fpr a message.

I think this is only the case because of the vertical differences. Before you get through the gate completely, you're not in Llevigar, you're below Llevigar, but there's no clear way to show the difference.

 

It was stated before that the ocean is no mans land and thus that should clear up most things i guess (as for anything else.. i mean any exception can be decided by the CT right? ).

 

But do the peninsulas count as part of the ocean?

 

since they are in the ocean id say yeah? everything else would be unnecessarily complicated and wouldnt make sense. Why would just the water not belong to anyone.. no point in that. So if the islands were part of provinces there wouldnt have been a point to call it a no mans land. Plus... no one is claiming to own corkus... and they would definitely claim it if the ocean was split up between gavel and wynn. Id say its pretty much confirmed that the islands arent part of any province.

 

They may not be a part of any province, but there does seem to be at least some ownership and control of them, especially by Wynn. Skiens Island used to be a Troms military base, and Selchar is certainly more closely tied to Wynn than anywhere else, and the lore of Maro Peaks talks of Wynn colonising it. Is Selchar a Wynn colony? Was Skiens? They may not be part of the Province itself but no mans land is not the word to use.

Are they in the ocean though? They're connected to land. It's not clear-cut.

Trade alliances over several hundred years can do that as well

Several hundred years? Selchar has only been around for 30 or so years and there ocean wasn't calmed until 100 years ago.

I'm starting to think you don't know what a peninsula is, or what I was actually referring to.... they're most definitely connected to land.

It's well-established lore from several places. Not just that.

One just East of Legendary Island (joins onto the western border of Wynn near Katoa Ranch, another west of Half Moon Island (connects to the mainland behind Bremminglar)
