Warrior/Knight Help ..the Ways Of The Alkatraz?

To be honest I made this thread to get insight from other players as how they go about an alkatraz build. I'm curious to see how much better people can make builds than I do, and if they're actually practical.

I'm gonna say off the bat, alkatraz goes into three main catagories; melee, lifesteal (melee), and spell spam.

Here's the best I can do in each of them, and if anybody wants to best me (won't be that hard) than feel free to do so :D

first of all: dont use the gambler, it will get a rework
second: try to counter the negative defenses
third: warchief is bad and without the gambler those negative defenses will be very bad

 

well UNFORTUNATELY gambler is going away. forever. completely. read the item changelog
i'd say this has somewhat well rounded dps and survivability or you can go elemental defs lol (gfr works if it's sp tight)

this would be pretty nice i guess if it wasnt for that -270 fire def
if you really want to keep the ex nihilo then here this uses it and combats the -defs somewhat. rings are better to spend on fixing fire def since water powders give the most defence when put on armor

goes over the top with mr and -defs are making quite a strong appearance again
if youre fine with hybrid and double mythic
and heres something a bit milder

 

Here's an earth hybrid I came up with a while ago, it originally was meant for stinger, but it works with alka too. There is probably still lots of room for improvement however.

Giant's Ring and Shatterglass boost your damage by more than the Fiber Accessories by the way, just a quick thing
