This thread is for uncovering and deciphering the thread that our old pal Pepo (the popo) Pephino.
The thread talks about secret groups operating in the wynn lands and recruting players to achive their goals.

This is probably a puzzle or somthing so here is a deciphering thread!

The '260' tag and the 'phone' tag are related to the user @The Phone

@The Phone is posting cryptic messages relating to the dates july 16 and 21

The 30% message could be relating to dern as dern and the abandoned mines are very closely related

The phone type is useful confirmed by pepo

It seems that this is related to the SCP Foundation

Don't forget about @The Phone ! It said "Faction map - Loading on 7162018", which could refer to July 16th, so we'll probably get more info before next week. If we figure out what to say on its profile, we might find out even more info too.

 

The Phone's location has also been changed from saying 'the guild mafia' to 'the guild faction' which is a bit strange

 

Ok so there are a lot more clues than what you wrote. I will try to write them out.
1. ‘260’ and ‘phone’ tags refer to the @The Phone forums member.
2. @The Phone is posting cryptic clues. It is actin as some sort of computer program.
3. Something will happen on July 16 and 21
4. The Phone is loading a ‘Faction Map’ and is currently 10% complete
5. The staff are going to figure out who this is and tell us in the next update

The factions represent provinces confirmed! I wonder if that means that fruma will be being added too. I doubt it though.

Im very interested in this, however I am currently away from my tools / computer, so it will be impossible for me to participate. I can however think. *Sudden realization*
There was a thread about updating the online map a while ago. ”The phone” talks about maps and areas of the factions on the map.
So, was the online map changed so they could activate this feature and give us a cool event?
Edit: as a bonus for this theory, colin350 was the one who made the online map update info thread (and possibly the online map upgrade as well) and posted on this thread that he knew something but would not tell.

 

I have just started a conversation with The Phone requesting information, I will update everyone on it if I get a reply.
