Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The giant takes his fingers off, nodding to Erre.
"That's a good boy."
He whispers to Ted.

 

"Thank you. But we should be going now, or we'll have to spend the night outside."

 

"It was nice to make your acquaintance." Mortius' voice echoes in Idhaenna's mind.

 

“Same.” She nods, looking at her bracelet again.
“...Oh, a new black hole. That explains it.” She mumbles, waving. “I’ll try to make sure the two succubi get back here.”

“You’re welcome to stay here.” Siln offers.

Ted licks his lips, tail wagging a bit more.
“And they know we’re here.” The dryad sighs.

 

"Oh no, looks like we gotta kill."
The giant says sarcastically.

 

Mortius and Naomi wave, Mortius' bony arm waving the cloak. Idhaenna hears a scream, a badly injured human running across the field before being tripped up. A half-spider woman skitters up behind him, wrapping him up in a web - much to his discomfort - before hefting him over her shoulder and scurrying away again.

 

"No, no. Judging by the game of Stone, there already seems to be someone keeping you company."

 

Idhaenna chuckles at the sight as she leaves.

“They’re going to trip cave-ins.”

“Yeah, but there’s still room.”

 

Idhaenna feels a slight assistance in getting home, as if space is easier to move through.

 

“I’m sorry, Caelia...” She thinks as she goes.

 

"Then... let's kill the ceiling."
He says in a voice so ridiculous, it's obvious that he's joking.

 

Caelia doesn't respond.

 

Ted growls in response.
“...Move.” Erre says, looking up.

 

"Don't worry. We already gave you a bit of trouble, you just go and enjoy the rest of the night."

 

The giant readies his sword, alert and prepared to follow Erre.

 

Nobody goes in or out of the Shadow Realm or Earth.

“Well, I really appreciate it. You two have a good night.” He says.

The dryad rushes forward as Erre runs, looking up reveals an explosive charge that’s about a half second from blowing.
Ted just whimpers.

 

Shadow Stephanie ends up entering the void palace, heading into the library and looking through the Shadow-tongue books.

 

The giant thrusts Ted forward, leaping upwards and a bit forth in order to take most of the explosion.

 

Sivius taps her shoulder.
“Milady.” He whispers.

 

Shadow Stephanie jumps, spinning around with her knife out.

"Ah, darling don't scare me like that." Shadow Stephanie says, desummoning her knife.
