"Alright, alright, I'll go. However, tell me who Torl is and I'll be on my way. I do not want to risk offending him if I do meet him."

 

''Really? How did you get to gylia?''

 

"Uh- Torl is the President. She's the only one who'll actually stand up to the dwarves. Fucking brilliant, she is. Have you been living under a rock?"

note- Gylia has always been villager-owned and run, but other races have always been taught when they display outstanding magical ability

She whispers. "I was with two others. If they turn up, they're innocent. Two Doguns, a young man with a wand and a young woman who can read minds. If you see them, please do all you can to help them."
She speaks, "They had to let me, after they saw what I was capable of. Turned me obsidian, but that's the price you have to pay."

 

"Yes, but knowledge is power. So is that all?"

 

"Like I said, adventurer, Ahms villager, how the hell should I know what goes on in Molten Heights? Any ways see you, later."

"Then I'll be off" I start walking out of the interrogaton chamber

As you're leaving, the guard you spoke to before going in stops you. "So, what was she whispering about?"

He stands his ground and allows them to tie him up. "The Gert is innocent. Let him deliver the scrolls."

He looks very sceptical. "Care to share them? They may be relevant in protecting the King."

 

"He apparently made the roof of the bathrooms transparent"

 

Uh.. how would you know that? It's a bit of a coincidence that you happened to guess the story exactly right. All she said to you was that something happened in the bathrooms involving Elimut.

I'm pretty sure she didn't. Juntabi mentioned it to Chunchunmaru at the bar in Grinefez, but that was the only time. If you want to go back and check, feel free.

"Alright." I turn towards the normal looking inn and start walking that way, still pulling Rin with me.
