A Modern Day Fantasy Rp [6/10]

Whatever, my early days of roleplay are noteworthy of being extremely cringey; filled with no real plot, characters that are basically palette swaps of each other, mary sues and huge references to other works rather than original stuff. My characters could change to planks of wood with faces on them back then and probably have the same sort of effect. Plot twists and 'emotional moments' couldn't really happen when there wasn't a plot to twist and no character build up to have any sort of emotional investment.

It is my first roleplay though.

 

I mean I made mistakes too.

Brisingr was so stupid- literally drawn with like three colors in paint and wtf kind of name was Reflet for a Goddess? What kind of domain is fire? And I legitimately had a kid which isn’t that weird for immortals but uggggh. I had massive infodumps no one wanted like how many soldiers each city had, and fought with the Emerald dude over who’s nation would win. I bumped up population numbers and magic use to unrealistic numbers just so my nation would be the best. There’s so many things I would change and the fact that it’s still up makes me want to diiiie.

 

So apparently this cringey asf thread we're all responding to is not notably cringe worthy of all the terrible f...ing mistakes I've made?

To be honest, I kinda wanted to stop this thread at 50 pages cuz of how bad it was.

I'm still leaning on that option but not as much now.

And according to @Arch, Sena apparently helped Fera against the bullies at their school which is completely ironic to me judging from how fricken powerful Fera is. Legit tho, Fera = Mary Sue and she needs protection against bullies? ffs Arch.

Also I read the first 50 pages and honestly it’s not that bad. I will say you have your characters save the PCs a lot. Like I’d much rather barely escape, get captured, ect. than have to stall knowing someone will appear and help me at the last second. Much more interesting.
