So if their Passive Perception doesn't beat that, I can surprise attack them.

Why am I standing 6 meters above everyone?

And why are you using meters, anyway? Yes, I know *you* use SI measurements, but the majority of the players don't, and D&D is written in customary measurements.

 

So would that mean that only those who don't get spotted get a surprise attack.
Which would be only me, cause no one hid.

You are not 6 meters up, I just put your token next to the road on accident.
I am using meters because I have no clue how much one foot is and because the metric system is better than the system with feet and miles.

Yeah you can just use what you used yesterday if you want to.

 

Meters would be fine except that D&D is written in feet so it makes every conversion messier.

Anyway... let's just get this over with.
