Generic Fantasy - [5/7]

The lizardman continues fighting the things in the background, alone. The guy you can only see by a necklace is still cold-clocked on the ground, and everyone else is sort of standing around ambivalently.

The old reliable flame strike takes off a substantial chunk of the (15, now 5) hp, but the earth monster thing turns its attention away from throwing rocks at a ghost to form its arm into an earthen blade and tries to stab you, shattering your ward.

Another spike erupts in the intersection behind you, which is fine, as it's behind you. What makes things less okay is that one has popped up in the intersection in front of you as well, and now you and 2 dozen people are trapped.

You decide to make the very reasonable choice to go away from whatever's scaring people, I wrote unironically.
It's some giant spire in the middle of the street, and small sinkholes are appearing around it and sucking people in. Away from that is the north gate, when you soon realize that there are these spires and small earthquakes happening everywhere, which can't be good. Lots of people who are still running, noblemen, beggars, a frost giant(?), workers, travelers, etc. You narrowly get past one that erupts in an intersection, before another one in the intersection ahead seals you in. What now?

You resolve set through the mine, before one of dwarven beer's worst effects kicks in: The delayed hangover. Leaves you alone Juuust long enough to think you've escaped, but you haven't.
There's a near empty minecart, with maybe a few supplies, loaded at the start of a track here. Or do you want to proceed (staggering) on foot?

"You already confirmed you were coming, but, it's fine. Just.. be there in an hour."

Whoever the voice belonged to disappears in the crowd behind you, and you're left in the market.

 

I go up to the one ahead and poke it with a blade

 

I poke at the dude on the ground (regardless or not if I can actually... poke.)
"Hey. Its it comfortable sleeping here?"

 

I jump back and shoot it again

 

I use my grappling hook to try and climb up a building.

 

“All right. I’m making my way towards the mansion.”

 

I hop into the minecart but first I check what supplies it has.

You dodge sinkholes popping up everywhere as you get closer, freezing a portion of the shard. It cracks open, revealing... more rock. It's weird, though, it looks like rock but acts more like dirt, shifting around. The hard rock (shell?) around it repairs itself, and the crack is gone. A sinkhole opens right below your feet, and you're only saved because your legs are spaced far enough apart to be on either side.

"could you get... a medic.."

Dead. One more le-of wait Zeth and one of the ghosts have already taken care of it you're fine.
The other ghost (the small girl) is kneeling and poking at Matt, who's continuing to relaxingly lay on the ground in a pool of blood.

Up and up you g-what the fuck is that
The spires and tremors look like they're radiating out from some giant stone statue/monster in the southwest corner of town. Whole section of the city is ruins, leaning more towards "monster" than statue, even though it isn't moving. Nevertheless, you have the option to crawl down the side of the -
The road at the intersection's weird. 'Cracked open' weird, as if there's a small ravine in the city. You'd have to jump, and failing the jump probably wouldn't end well.

No, the quotes are what your character says. You don't need to put actions in them.

Either way, you don't actually know where the mansion is nor are you dressed in finery, so that may be a roadblock.

I start looting the rocks and say to maty "why didn't you dodge"

 

I call out to the lizard person. (Dez)
"Hey. You got a medic?"

 

"No, unless Zeth is one"

 

"He says he want a medic."
I point at the man on the ground.
"I think it's because he can't sleep to well on this floor..."

 

"Yeah that happens when you get a rock to the face"

 

"That you can't sleep?"

 

"No there is a very high chance that he's going to die"

 

"Uh... does that mean he can sleep then?"

 

"If he falls asleep he won't be waking up"

 

"Uh... so you never slept before?"
"It's comfortable... I think."
