I stand up as she mentions assassination, looking alarmed.
"Wait, what? Who? Why?"

 

"I get the feeling we're being watched."
"Can only be too careful. Nobody is safe. And our ties to the Coalition are not helping us. We should go."
They leave towards the centre of town.

 

I pass by like i was never there

 

"Rumours. There are many people at this summit that many others could gain from the death of. Myself included in both categories. However, the consequences of not showing up were potentially far more dire. I would certainly appreciate more eyes. Tonight is the perfect opportunity for an assassin. The number of powerful people in one room, and the number of others... we can trust nobody."

 

I also stand. Casually look at the crowd around us looking for mana fluctuations.

O. We be body guards then? That's why we were invited?

 

I try to look bold, pulling Rin slightly closer as I propose the idea to the High Delegate.
"We can't let that happen, a murder of someone who's not guilty, that's just cruel..." I bite my lip, remembering the hobbit taken by the spiders. I take a deep breath and continue.
"I can offer my eyes and swords for your protection, but again, I can only speak for myself."

 

The rabbit man notices you, but seems not to take an interest. A villager comes by, proclaiming the arrival of Doushoins at the West Gate, and the arrest of a Dogun just outside the South Gate.

A plain black carriage draws close and she climbs in.

 

I go look at Doushoins arrival

 

What time is it?

I turn to Rin. "So, do you want to do anything to kill time while we wait?" I ask, clearly still in the adrenaline of the idea of a murder.

 

I kinda don't struggle against you pulling me closer. xD

You walk down the main road to the West and find a black carriage coming down the street, headed towards the Royal Palace. It's not Doushoins' own, but she is unmistakably inside. A cloth banner reading "High Delegate" is draped across the front.

About 11 AM.

 

I step to the side and watch as they pass

 

"Alright, can you tell me where the lesser treasures are. Like a general area."

 

Btw, sorry, internet crashed. Writing this on the phone.

"Alright." I say, passing my arm over Rin's shoulders.
"Lets see the city."

I take in a deep breath, trying to get the thoughts out of my mind. I turn to Rin and smile.
"Ever been in Cinfras?"

We are pretty old honestly. Probably have. I'll assume I don't know much about the city, seen it doesn't have much nature.

"What do you like to do the most? Cinfras is a big city, I'm sure there will be something that you like!"
I pull you closer and wave around for the city.
