“I’m only a pyromancer. Burning stuff is kinda what I do.”

 

"But.. can you burn your own fat is the question."

 

The giant sends a bit of wind down the fog tunnel to see if it is affected.

 

"Go on." Gail says, before putting the ice cream back in her mouth.

 

“Long ago, Alice stole the soul of an assistant of mine. Who am I, is the thing I’m sure will get out eventually... I am a goddess from the other reality. You looked like one of Gaia’s skyborne children, which happens to be my element.”

It is, the fog churning a bit. It may have tipped off his location, however, considering the sound of footsteps.

“Yep. Yep I can.”

 

"Well, people will be jealous of those abilities."

 

Gail seems a little surprised.

"I...It's an honour to meet you, Lady Idhaenna." Gail says.

 

“Says the really cool werewolf.” Anne laughs. “Come on, get moving.”

“Pleasure’s all mine... but no bowing, please. I was told that Earth is primal tech heaven, and I figured a bit of nostalgia would be a good way to spend my break day.”

 

"Hey, I rather never get fat then turn into THIS."

He starts sprinting to Siln.

 

"Well, you're welcome to ride the skyrail if you'd like." Gail says.

 

“I lack the local currency, but I can offer you this instead.” Idhaenna says, summoning a bracelet from a holographic wireframe projected from her necklace.

“But it’s so cool!” Anne says, running after you.

Siln’s cave is to the right. It’s literally uphill from here.

 

"It's free for you, Lady Idhaenna. It's a once-in-a-lifetime rarity we see a being of godhood in this town." Gail says.

 

"People often think that, but it's not all fun."

He continues sprinting uphill.

 

“Are you sure? I don’t want to inconvenience your service.”

“Well, you could always be something weirder.”

Siln peeks out of his cave with a yawn before turning to you.
“Oh, hey, glad you made it.” He says wearily. “Do you two need a place for the night?”

 

"No, no. We just came by to visit. And we got you something special~."

 

Gail looks at the bracelet for a moment, before shaking it off.

"You won't inconvenience the service, don't worry. Not many people have used the skyrail recently anyway." Gail says, quickly taking a lick of a droplet falling down her ice cream.

 

Idhaenna nods.
“That means a lot, thank you. Please, though, if you ever need something in return, let me know. Construction and tech is right up my alley.”

“Well, come in, come in. I wasn’t expecting company, or gifts.” He says, signaling for you to enter.

 

"Thanks."

He walks over to the entrance and enters the cave.

 

"I'll keep that in mind." Gail says happily, a skyrail cart's door opening with a squeak.

 

The giant sticks to the wall at the entrance of the corridor, hoping to surprise the source of footsteps.
