The three large birds dive down, all of them have heads of deer.
The first one dives down to Erevan and attacks him.
To hit: 9+5=14
I think that hits.
Damage: 6+3+5=14

The second one also attacks Erevan.
To hit: 13+5=18
I think that hits.
Damage: 8+3+13=24

The third one attacks Kyelas.
To hit: 8+5=13
I don't know if that hits.
Damage: 2+3+11=16

Erevan has 16 AC, and Kyelas has 17. The only attack that hits is the second one.

Initiative: 13 + 2 = 15

Also, how are the deer-birds still in the air? Didn't they dive down to attack us?

 

Oh I forgot to say they landed on another cliff after diving down, you can see their location on the battlemap.

 

They flew back up? In that case, shouldn't we have gotten Attacks of Opportunity?

 

No, they have an ability called flyby which says that you can't get an AoO on them when they're flying.

A. The first one doesn't hit.

B. How does it have +13 to damage? Did you make a math error?

 

That's because of the dive.
