I just started playing about 3 months ago, so I'm not amazing at the game... Also my rank is a little high for what I can do, because I figured it was funny to farm all my easy maps using DTHR, yet all it does is just make my top plays look bad :/

Also, is it strange that I do better using HR than nomod? I had mostly A ranks on a song that is 7.5 AR and the rhythm to approach rate just felt too slow for me to process, yet when I put in HR, I got an S rank on my first try...

 

Hard Rock increases Approach Rate, so you may feel more comfortable with a higher approach rate if you've played enough games to improve your reaction speed. Lower star difficulties tend to have easier/lower approach rate to make it easier for newer players.

i started playing osu last week and its so gud

 

I play, sort of. As of right now I mainly play trash game fortnite, but I used to play osu all the goddamn time. If yall want to play or something just hmu. I've been really rusty lately and most of my plays are months old. I've also been caught up in work too (the biggest oof of me playing osu)

played it for a good while and still do occasionally but started playing mania instead like a year and a half ago and wished i hadnt wasted time on std, then started etterna a couple days ago and now wish i hadnt wasted time on o!mania lol
