Toa's 6th Floor Boss.

I'm going solo into ToA's 6th floor. It goes fairly well until I get up to the boss. The problem is not it's massive HP or attack, the problem is that he kills himself before I can do it.

I have tried checking the wiki about it, and it dose say that the boss dose have a suicide attack, But the thing is that it uses said attack EVERY SINGLE TIME before I get even close to killing it. Is there any special trick to fighting this thing other than just rushing it? Do I need to have a water build or am I just being an idiot again? Right now It just seams like I am fighting it just for it to blow up one forth of the way in and restart the fight.

 

You just need to kill him before he does it himself. Try getting some people to help you out.

 

I used to have a lot of trouble with this boss, and that's because I didn't have a water weapon. Any high-leveled weapon that deals a good amount of water damage will be very effective against Alkevo. Looking at your stats page you play assassin, so I would recommend using the weapon "Nimbus" against him, it's what I used and it's unique. I believe Alkevo always blows up in exactly(?) 2 minutes, so keep that in mind.

Yeah I didn't know he killed himself until he did it once when I was just trying to stay in the room because I was helping someone who died to the grim reapers multi-hit right before running into the boss lol

 

I fought him for several minutes, no suicides occurred. I wasn't even aware that was a thing.
