Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"O-Ok." Abigail says.


Claire looks a little scared, an air of innocence about her.

 

Kiin offers to help Abigail up, though her size makes it... redundant.


Alice looks away.
“I’ve learned to follow the path I’m given. Step off, and you’ll learn too... though I recommend otherwise.”

 

Abigail gets up, heading back to Katie's room.


"Don't you have your own will to decide things?" Claire asks.

 

"Jeez. What a waste."

 

Kiin follows, content.


“Will is only half the battle.”

“Kinda makes me hate being popular.”

 

"But where're you goin'?"

 

"Well, Arga is populair in a way. It can't be helped. We're getting married, so that's also an exciting thing for people."

 

Abigail puts on another video and starts watching it, sniffling occasionally.


Claire stays silent.

 

“True. I just wish people didn’t do... that.”

Kiin rests her head on Abigail’s shoulder, silent.


Alice glances at the Tenebrae statue before shaking her head.
“Well, was there something else?”

“We were just gonna do a round and then leave, but if there are others there, he’s probably dead by now.”

 

"Hm. Happens to the best of us, I guess."
The giant turn, making his way back to the spiral.

 

"People are curious creatures."

 

Abigail just watches videos, laughing quietly as she's amused.

A while later, Kiin senses someone else nearby.


Claire shakes her head.

 

Kiin sends her shadow extension to see who it is.


Alice loosens her grip on Claire’s hand.
“I’m going home, then.”

“Well... no sense dwelling on that now. Dragons are less crazy, and we’re there.”

“Sucks he doesn’t have a weapon for the phoenix trial.” He sighs, following Voidfiller.

 

He lets out a loud 'Ha' at her comment.
"Dragons are less scary then humans? Oh please."

 

"Why wouldn't he have a weapon for anything called the 'phoenix trial'?"

 

It's Katie, and she seems to be headed to her room.


Claire lets go.

"Goodbye." Claire says innocently.

 

Kiin leaves Abigail and heads for Katie’s room, knocking on arrival.


“Stay safe.” Alice nods, leaving.

“If you die without one, you don’t get one.”

“One’s angry when they’re hungry. The other is angry whenever they choose to be angry.”

 

"I feel like that just furthers my point."

 

"I can be angry in both situations."

 

OOC: Kiin is already in Katie's room.

Katie seems a little surprised to see Kiin, along with looking a little distraught.

Abigail gets up and walks over to Katie and Kiin.

"How are they?" Abigail asks, concerned.

"T-They...They're...a-alive," Katie says, fighting back tears, "B-But, they're badly hurt."

Abigail walks over to Katie and gives her a hug. Katie hugs Abigail back tightly.


Claire looks up, and a large guard appears beside her. Claire offers her hand and the guard walks her off.
