Any Way To Dispose Of Duplicate Quest Items?

So I've been out of Wynncraft for a while, but am adapting to the changes. However there's one change that has made an old habit difficult. This habit is being able to dispose of quest items like the Breathing and Climbing Helmet by dropping them in a loot chest and closing it. This no longer works...is there any way to dispose of these items, since I have duplicates by playing multiple classes (as I'm sure many have this problem).

 

Yes
Get like a stack of emeralds in your inventory
(Also have the duplicate in your inventory)
Fill every slot with emeralds
Put the duplicate in the 2x2 crafting area
Replace its old slot with emeralds
Make sure all inventory spots are full
Exit inventory

 

I think you can also dispose of quest items by putting them into the daily reward chest when it becomes available
