Rp - Gavel's Darkest Hour- Act Two Begins [7/7]

I go in one of the corridors trying to find a map.

 

The dwarf leader hits you in the shoulder mid-speech. She's not very strong but it's still very painful. The other dwarf is clearly terrified and sprints off in the other direction. Distracted, the leader calls out, "No - wait - FEERIP COME BACK THIS INSTANT - fuck it, am I the only competent one?" and chases after her. The fallen dwarf slowly raises his hand. "Whasgoingon," he mumbles drowsily.

 

"What's wrong with my attitude?"

"Um- Okay!"
Shank the closest spooder.

 

It leads past more carvings to a room covered in carved text, with a coffin in the centre. The lid looks fairly light.

(The canyons are moving around, so a map might not actually be very useful)

 

I try to read the text.

 

I let out a sigh of relief. Hopefully they'll be gone for a bit. I smack the waking dwarf over the head and proceed to carry him to the local authorities

 

”Armor of shinepaper? Can villager even fight in shinepaper? Will light blind villager?”
I try and look for any signs of stupidity so I can feel smart.

OOC: ...seriosly?

 

You are not quite fast enough and the spider crashes into you disorientating it. It slowly turns to face you.

The knife goes into its abdomen, causing it to frantically flail around and fall to the floor. The other, however lands on your back and starts stabilibilising itself to bitensure your neck.

 

I try to get the swords ready for a possible attack, shaking my head to get the drowsiness away. I also back off the where I last threw seeds at.

 

A villager in particularly strange armour gets up and stares at you. "Son? A Gert? You know they're puppets of Togak? I thought I taught you better."

"Leave me alone!" he screams, his hands burning in yours. He starts kicking and dragging himself back to the alley.

"Our great creation thus brought about a thirteenth Abbot. Hertyu was the Radiant, the Soaring. Bringer of Unity, of Peace. He gave us light, he gave us land, he gave it all to the Faith. In the name of the Union of Hertyu and Remikas we rejoice, for our Faith hath granted us strength. Praise be to thee, may he rest peacefully in these chambers.." It goes on, similarly praising this Hertyu.

 

I go to the other corridor.

 

”Gert slow, but dumb not. I have rock smashbringer. For smash rock by bring rock to smash rock. Also smash skull if gert meet enemy.”
I start looking for ways to escape and tell the duke of the traitors. ”Mayble that make duke like gert and gert leave.” OOC: cursoves are thinking.

 

"That you don't know is very telling. I think I've seen enough. I've given you enough warnings. You're a grown man. Act like one. Elsewhere, of course." He gives a magically amplified call: "Esmé, escort this young man out of the building."

I let out another sigh
what a hassle...i just wanted to go to the bar ;-;
I point my wand at him "get up and walk in front of me. try anything and ill blow your guts all over the wall. im handing you over to the authorities"

 

There are at least fifteen corridors leading out of the hall. The next one leads to a very similar room with a coffin, this one with text praising an Abbot Guilo. The coffin lid appears to have fallen off in the shaking, and inside is a skeleton covered in sacred jewellery.

"Get out, demon!", he shouts, brandishing a flimsy looking rapier. "Tell your boss he can't spray us with potions from dragons now, we're onto him."

He begrudgingly obeys. "You know what'll happen if you take me to your Dogun police?", he snarls. "I'll say I'm with the Royal army. They gun think it an act of war. That'd be pretty bad for both of us, huh?"

 

"um...isnt that why your here?"

 

Do i know anything that would really piss him off if I said it?

 

"Help!"
Jump and fall back so that the spider on my back will hit the ground.

 

”Ugh.”
I smash my hammer to the ground, with a magic bash spell.
”Guard will come.”
I let myself out.
”Also gert no slave.”
I leave before the noise attracts guards that see what’s going on.
