Three identical hexagonal rings then form around each of the people with electric rings (three rings per person) and shock/electrocute them.

 

I stab the spear into the ground to make a ground wire and dissipate the electricity. Chemestry for the win.

The hexagonal rings appear around them... hella weak and transparent however. The shock and electricity slides off them as if it was nothing... oh and they seem more than mad now. The hexagonal rings fade away.
