I look at the girl. “No thank you.” I say politely and keeeep on flipping the knife.

 

Althea starts flipping her own knife.

 

Yazu snorts.
"I think I make a lot of situations anti-climactic."
He glances at Dnaiel (@Tisaun)
"For instance, the power plant that just blew up."
Yazu looks back at the only girl in the group currently.
"I gotta save my girlfriend now so please pardon me."
Yazu smirks, snapping his fingers turning into dust reappearing at Fera's side.

"Took you long enough," Fera says wincing in her tight bonds (Azura, why do all the girls get hurt a lot more?)
"Sorry Fe," Yazu mutters pulling out a knife and carefully cutting the ropes.
Once Fera is free, Yazu snaps his fingers again turning into smoke and reappearing back on the building everyone else is at.
"Hello again." Yazu smirks.

 

“Oooh we got a badass over here.” Althea says as soon as he returns. “You hear that guys? He has a girlfriend. Take notes, everyone.”

“And what makes you think we don’t have?” I say hotly, going red in the face

 

Fera turns red.

Yazu smirks.
"Considering your suit and your willingness to fall off a tall building and die, I think it's clear that you tried and failed to get a girlfriend. Because of your depression, you want to commit suicide."

I'd like you all to know that Fera is 12 and Yazu is 13.

 

“Ayyyyy nice one.” Althea nods in assent.

 

I didn’t just jump, dipshit. I was running. Faster than anyone else here could. At least I’m not a cocky little kid who wouldn’t be willing to risk himself for the well-being of others.”

Yazu raises an eyebrow.
"You can get yourself killed however you want to. I really wouldn't care either way Flash wannabe."

 

“True, true.” Althea mutters, wishing she had some popcorn.

I look over the kid, and go back to knife flipping. I’m not wasting my time with him.

 

Take out my phone and look around.
"Oh. That was a joke."
I wave at Yazu.
"Name's Tim. Mind getting him (point at Daniel) to stop shooting?"

 

Yazu shrugs.
Fera crosses her arms messaging her arms.

A couple explosive fireworks come from the direction from the group with the Necronomicon... In fact, they seem to be attacking the seven youths too but not the group with four youths and the officer.

What now?

 

Magic?

 

Of course. It's the Amzaedus spell "Ignitus Flare" although I don't think anyone in the group other than Yazu and Fera know that.

 

“So is no one up for knife tic-tac-toe? I have an extra knife.”

 

I walk over. “Sure. What’s the difference between this and normal tic-tac-toe?”

 

I guess I'm dealing with it then.

Fera turns around to look at the fireworks.
"Fera, can you?" Yazu asks.
Fera responds by summoning three weak golden white rings around her. The rings sizzle and a white beam shoots out from the middle ring with the other two rings supporting. The beam is unstable and flickers due to Fera being weakened but should still hopefully get the fireworks neutralized. The beam also attacks the Necronomicon's group of people on top of their building.
