Little effort and fixes very slow while maintaining most of the damage (only 1k avg spell loss).

There are plenty of reasons to not like this user's past threads, but they're just asking for help here. Stop trying to flame already. That was old 3-4 locked threads ago.

no its just really really really irritating to me whenever people go around asking for free stuff/help while putting in the minimum effort to actually do anything themselves
your telling me thats all I had to do but did you think about how he could have done literally the same thing in less than 10 seconds but instead decided to just go "oh i dont like that someone else do it for me (please)"
not to mention he asked for another build for manablast when he could literally have just switched the weapon from cascade to manablast
but again thats obviously too much work someone else do it plox

Anyone can do what I displayed in 10 seconds, but only those with the knowledge can. People come to the Class Builds section and use the Help prefix to signify they either A) don't know what they're doing B) have a specific request C) or want outsider input on a build. When someone says:

but that doesn't give you the right to shit on threads because you feel like it either. This person was just posting a help thread and finding a build, but you went and decided to completely throw out the positive aspects of this thread simply because you were annoyed. It's just rude. If you don't like using wynndata and helping people do simple stuff like search through a database for items that meet some specifications, then this isn't the place to voice yourself. It's that simple. Why are you following someone you don't like anyways?!?! You're intentionally attacking someone and ruining the whole point of this section. They want to play wynn and have fun. There are quite a few other things you could be berating this person over, like their cactus build farming comment, or making a rainbow hybrid without a mythic or infused hive weapon, but you chose to be petty. It took me 10 seconds to use the search bar then type a quick reply. It took you the same time to make a negative comment and stoop from a place of moral high-ground. Think before you reply to this.

 

the guy's literally in the wynndata discord. even if he doesnt know every little thing about it, the fact that he didnt even bother to try to do anything himself is what ticks me off

or maybe actually looked around a bit before posting? funny how its ok to shit on housing threads but once its about builds "oooh he's just looking for help"
its not like this is his first or second thread either, he's posted 4 class build help threads in the past two weeks basically just asking people to do all the work for him. He's not asking how can i make good builds he's saying make builds for me

exactly. I could see a valid argument if you were to bring that up, but instead you attacked someone asking for help. I don't like 'em either, but the sooner they get help, the sooner they're gone too. give them something useful and send them off, rather than making a petty reply.

 

yes asking for help is the point of a help thread, not charity. the definition of help is: make it easier for (someone) to do something by offering one's services or resources.

make it easier not give for free. again its obvious the OP hasn't put any effort in himself which again is what ticks me off

Like, going around calling people out for their mistakes aren't gonna really make things better. And @WynnChairman has a point... it's pretty irritable when people just keep asking you to change stuff. Anybody will get slightly annoyed. You're just blowing this up into an argument for your egos...

 

and @SirEnderLord I'm not sure why the slow attack speed of Manablast bothers you. From what I've seen, you want a spell based build, and 9-10k meteors are pretty good. Even with @NicBOMB 's build, you're getting a measly 1.7k melee dps, which doesn't feel that good for a hybrid build imo...

The attack speed doesn't affect spell casting whatsoever, if that's what you're worried about.

If you want a hybrid build, I played around with some items.

It's pretty poorly optimized since I'm not as familiar with the rebalanced items as well as the new ones. There are probably better options to optimize it as a hybrid cascade build.

The general idea is going off of the earth/water combo of Pisces. I wouldn't recommend straight up taking this build, but I think what you're looking for is maybe something along the lines of this concept?

 

gambler oof (jk) but why doesnt your build have a necklace or a bracelet?

Heres the same build with no gambler and some other items. also the defenses are not on negative and the dmg is slighly better

That's how you chose to interpret the thread. I just responded like any other help thread until I saw your reply. It was poorly executed, rude, and had great potential for antagonizing the OP without being 'all about my distaste for giving people things for free'. I understand that's how you feel, and disagree, but you still could have chosen to use many other points (which I listed) to reach your ultimate goal while refraining from being petty.

um ok but that doesnt make the thread positive? also i dont see how someone shitting on a thread actually throws out any positive aspects? if anything the thread was already negative the moment he asked for a replacement for a 2 year old build when cancer spell attack tier and multiple hive items was a thing. he probably saw 17-22k dmg and went wow i want that someone go make me one
