There's no response when you knock on each door, not even the slightest sound.

"Naomi? Sophie?" Leo Shu calls out.

No response.

"Uh, should we call the police?" Mason asks.

"I am the police," Leo Shu mutters back.

Mason facepalms. "Oh. Right."

What now?

Nothing....

"Boy, do you know which door they were probably in?" I ask Mason. If he shows me the door, I'll try to open it. If it's locked, I'll use the master key. Aka my spear.

 

"Follow the cloaked men," Yazu said through the earpiece.
"How? There's a huge crowd in front of the building," Fera mutters back.
"Portals."
"In the middle of the city? Where everyone can see?"
Fera could feel Yazu's smirk. "Yes. There's a magical filter, isn't there?"
"Fine."
Three golden white rings surround Fera and she creates a portal behind her stepping back into it. Then, she reappears inside the building this time, the portals closing in on themselves and her three rings disappearing.

 

"Maybe it only works on regular humans" I will the shard that gives me magic powers outside of my body and try to use the amulet again

 

Nope.... it still doesn't seem to do anything...

What now?

"Down the hall to the left."

You proceed to go to that door and use the amazing master key. You open the door but no one seems to be in there...

No signs of anything broken either...

What now?

 

I turn towards Leo. "It would appear we have a case in our hands, detective Leo."

 

I make the shard go back in my body "screw it I'll ask someone" I summon the traveller to show me an intruder from Amzaedus

 

Fera finds herself in one of the empty hallways of the Empire State Building...

What now?

Candles light de wae . . .

However, the candles flicker a red flame this time....

What now?

"I'm an officer. Not a detective..." Leo says back.

What now?

 

I put my spear on one of his shoulder's, then the other "Well, now you are."
Turning towards Mason, I raise the spear "Do you want to become Watson?"

 

I put on the amulet but hide it under my shirt and follow the flames while invisible

 

"...No thank you."

"..I'm pretty sure knighting someone doesn't make them a detective.." Leo mutters.

After following the candles through like two hallways, they lead you to a dead end.... well it wouldn't of been a dead end if part of the wall wasn't blocking the way.... Yeah the wall and some ground from above are blocking the hallway.

The candles lead straight through it....

What now?

If I'm understanding this right the hallway has collapsed so I teleport behind it

 

I repeat what he said in a low and sharp voice "I'm pretty sure knighting someone doesn't make them a detective, meh meh meh..."
"Are you sure we can't proceed anyways?"

 

Yep you understood it correctly.

The shard appears... but oddly, it doesn't let you teleport behind the debris...

It just, sort of shimmers, and then disappears.

What now?

Yeah Blue is currently trying to figure out how to use the Amulet of Divination and he walked away from the group.

You, @Tsuyu-chan, the air elementalist, and Ezinth are still at the jail area.

"Well, we still haven't checked out the other rooms but I kinda don't want you to break every doorknob down you know..." Leo says.

 

"Oh, I'm sure they will understand." I lift my spear up "To the other rooms, detectives! Let's roll out!"

 

I touch the rubble maybe it's an illusion
