    I probably interpreted it wrong. I thought when she said: 'It must not return to the skull.' I thought she was handing it over to us.
    That's a long ass name.

    I thought the spell was Glyph of Warding, using the Explosive Runes mode. Except Lyrin might not have the material components, and Sorcerers can't actually learn that spell, so...

    Also I mistakenly said Evocation. Glyph of Warding and Symbol (I was thinking of using a nerfed version of that) are both Abjuration

    It certainly is.

    Symbol has the same issues as Glyph of Warding in this situation.

    She looks you up and down (but mostly down, for obvious reasons), and then hands it to you.

    @SPYROHAWK should handle this.

    I added it to the "found books" folder. Para also gave the link

    It's written in Gnomish, except for the red part at the bottom, which is in Celestial

    I'll paste it in for you:

    Chapter 3: The Encampments

    The region within the walls is called The Encampments. This region has changed from warlord to warlord, but it’s oldest recorded history is from a warlord named Rutos Of Iron Teeth. Rutos built this section as a storage place for weapons and armor. However, the size of it quickly lead to it functioning as a barracks.

    The next warlord, Gruuth the Mighty, saw this and decided it was for the best. He built proper houses and buildings in this section. As such, it became a city in it’s own right. Houses and Shops and Markets and Businesses… the Encampment area was filled with bustling people. This was the first time that The Skull itself had common people living in it, instead of just in the surrounding towns.

    This was made even more clear under the rule of the warlady, Emmeth the Color Queen. Under her rule, the Encampments became even more busy. In the alleys in between the buildings tents were set up, and camps and tents of people lived on the street. It was during this era that the Encampments got its name.

    This was the trend for many warlords after. More and more people came to live there. You would figure at some point overpopulation would become a problem. And it did. A tiefling warlord named Xathu Fireskin found an interesting solution. He intentionally invited more people to the Encampments than the fortress could hold, and used the excess as sacrifices to devils. Didn’t quite go as he expected, ended up killing almost everyone in the fortress.

    When the Church arrived, we found the Encampments to be deserted, but not empty. A warlord named Gunther the Dirty ruled the citadel for some time. He had a paranoida of soap, and imagined monsters made of soap to be hunting him at every turn. So he filled the encampments with countless traps. Eventually Gunther was killed by one of his own traps. The Church is in the process of disabling the traps around the Encampments, or in the case of the ones that can’t be disabled, at least make them only triggered by living creatures.

    The encampments are build right up against the bone walls, and spread right to the edge of the gorge.
