Battle Of The Worst Quests

I'm going to admit right now, The Realm of Light series had a decent storyline, but the actual gameplay of it SUCKED.

 

Star thief for sure. It is nothing but a fetch quest. To be honest, this quest should be reworked or removed. It lacks the basic lore.
Eye of the storm is the second. The story makes sense imo, but it is way too long and it only gives you a shit amulet that probably hurts your eye with its trashy power.
The only thing that matters about RoL is that the lore. Like seriously, WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT SEALED GUY
ToL isn't really a fetch quest like you guys think. At that level, you explored the whole wynn province and nearly the whole ocean, you may find the items required. If you explore the place thoroughly, you just have a few place to go. Also the lore is good in it.
Do you know why they made the ultimate weapon worth 7 le? it is to make you shut the fuck up about this quest.

 

EOTS but I also hate star thief, like Christ if you’re going to make a quest short, make it good.

 

We already know that Star Thief and Eye Of The Storm are getting remade at least

 

Can I nominate both parts of Aldorei's Secret? This might just stem from the fact that I hate elves in general. Anyway, part 1 involved you running around the town aimlessly until you figure out the whole sunflower seed in a random house thing. And then there were a few odd puzzles afterwards to ultimately get to: hand boots over to Herp or Derp. Part 2 had the whole embassy thing that was long and boring and had that ungodly annoying snake parkcore part. What I hated most about it was they tried to make it 'deep' and have a lesson about selfishness but the 'good' reward is a crap set of armor and 32 EB.

The realm of light questline just felt like filler. The pre-requisite quests are almost purely fetch quests and there is nothing of real interest (or reward) when you get to the end of it. I hate these quests but not as much as the aldorei's secret duo.

 

Yeah the set's crap but you get 2 le and 32 eb not just 32 eb XD

Wow, quite a few people agree? Since when did the community become so pessimistic? Just give the team some love!

 

Since it became painfully obvious for the reasons stated by Vsauce.

 

I wouldn't really give them love since we have people like Aarontti who felt like the community demanded from dev team to bring them Corkus before anything that they actually had planned.
The more you look into things the more things seem to be not quite right.

Special attention:
1. Bob's lost soul - Fucking Rly??? Quest about Bob himself and soooo annoying...
2. RoL questline - Fucking Rly? [x2] - Quest about Light itself and so many grinding and Lore Holes...
3. Aldorei quesrline - Questline about Light and Elves, but so annoying area and puzzles.
4. Temple of Legends - Quest about ToL itself and.. Grinding....
5. EotS - WHAT??? WHO? Unknown demon that can "destroy Gavel"? Who is that? Decay? Corruption? Dern?
6. Haven Antiquity - What??? Dern made Corruption?? I know Corruption appeared when Light and Dark mixed but Where is Light on this island + main source of Corruption is The Portal in Wynn.

 

Eh, half are passable. Not the most exciting, but as side quests they are fine. As a whole you could argue that they bring down the game because it makes the game full of filler content, but whether having a storyline versus a bunch of side quests is a whole other matter.

 

I agree that they are not the best quests but most of those are fine for now. We need to work on the really bad ones then focus on ones like Heaven A, Fallen delivery and forbidden prison, those aren’t the best quests but they don’t have any major problems.

Ok.

Hollow Sirene is unmemorable, but I wouldn't call it shit. The "puzzles" are kinda fun, though it's stupid to have to go into the cave twice.
Taproot is pretty cool, how is it bad, if you wanna say the fetching, that takes like three seconds if you know what to do and if you don't you should probably use your brain more. Finding the light makes no sense, but I like the dialogue and if you aren't interested in it you can finish it in no-time. Realm of Light sucks though.
Aldorei's Secret I and II are fine quests, what are you talking about. Especially the second one has some good puzzles and its own mini-dungeon kinda thing.

Ok. I wouldn't call most of these "shit", but they're definitely bad.

I actually like this quest, especially if you choose the Brie part, though I have to agree that some of the ingredients are stupid to get, while others are much more fun. Also this quest is where the talking mushroom comes from.

Ok. Definitely wanted more story for the orcs.

Were you actually on mushrooms when you put it on the list. Sure it's nonsensical, but there's just no denying it's amazing.

Yeah right I don't care for these either.

I like the pun. That aside I quite like the concept and the aesthetic of the quest. The gameplay doesn't have that much to offer though and the water hole is obnoxious. I still want to see the dungeon because a Grootslang boss would be awesome.

These are indeed pretty bad.

Haven Antiquity is weird when put into context, but I like the quest for what it is.
Forbidden Prison is pretty neat in my opinion, but it falls flat on its face when compared to stealth sections like the one inKingdom of Sand.

What's wrong with this quest? I get that it doesn't have much to do with the overall story and that Cinfras scrolls are just about the most useless thing in Wynncraft, but not every quest has to be this grand fight of good and evil.

Makes sense, I didn't think Marauder's Dues was that bad, but I can't say I like it either.
