I got kicked out last year because I was inactive. I also hated the karma system.

1st is the grass on the roof what you can do is //replace 2 159:13 the dirt on the grass looks odd and it destroys the roof
2nd is the sand coloring maybe use the splatter ball to color it .//set makes the sand coloring compete with each other even tho its unnoticeable from afar
3rd is maybe mix red terracotta with the brick
overall the thought concept and execution is really good

nice build, i enjoyed what u did with the water, but i think the island is a little too neat, i mean the sand outside rim and the middle soulsand looks too neat / symmetrical kinda if u know what i mean, try spicing it up a bit with like a dock, rocks, etc

no splatter ball because it makes everything look like static. I aim to have organised thoughtful color gradients all throughout my builds further more sand is subjected to the contorl of minecraft gravity and that just doesn't work with gradient balls, but next time will instead of using w/e for my gradient balls, I might use gobrush, this way I can make a gradient ball without physicalling having to make a ball... if that makes sense. this way i can use blocks such as sand and gravel more in my builds. :D I understand the grass but that really wasn't the style i was going for, A kind of rundown but still regularly mainted feel was what i was trying to achieve. The chimmeney is not the focal point of the build, it is just in the back ground to ease you into the foreground that is the house its self, I dont want too many messy colors on the chimney as to distract the viewer on the main build. I appreciate all your feed back and they will be taken into account in my next build :D. Thanks for replying

Omg YES. I hated the karma system too. I was SOO demotivated when I learned how it worked and the thresholds for even showing a rank. Also the fact they used Skype to communicate showed me they were very outdated.

Also the fact that you get no say into what goes into the map really limits your creativity. This combined with karma system meant I wasn’t even going to try if I couldn’t find enjoyment in building through this.
