I stop walking and start teleporting in order to silently go forth next to you.

You approach the light, and it's a campfire. There's a figure laying next to the campfire. She is female, and her eyes are closed. She is wrapped in a brown blanket, with a closed bag nearby.

In the Heroforge folder, for Main Campaign she is "??? - 2"

 

Erevan approaches with great caution, but has a nagging meta-sense that he's not the best one to approach this situation.

 

I try, step by step to approach the bag, take it, and retreat into the darkness in order to teleport away.

 

Erevan gives you the sternest of elf-staredowns.

 

I wave my hand dismissively.

 

The bag has a manner of contents, including the following:

A staff
A book written in Gnomish
A bag of money
A sword

The sword and staff, are they magical at all?

 

She's actually holding the staff against her body, so strike that one from the list.

The bag is larger on the inside, by the way.

The bag also contains an elegantly engraved shield, which looks as if it's barely seen use, a round, polished stone, and various other adventuring supplies as might be found in a dungeoneer's pack.

There are numerous bags of money, by the way, all neatly tied and labeled.

I'm gonna go with a no on the sword being magical, but once again that's a Para question

This NPC was actually made by Para, so I'm letting him do all the details for her

And she's holding the staff

 

The sword is elegantly crafted, but looks mundane.

History check for the shield, arcana check for the stone.

The rock it pretty, but probably just a rock.
