Illia raises her holy symbol and speaks a prayer, and her hand glows with light. She gestures, throwing a bolt of energy at the bear attacking you.
Attack Roll: 12 + 5 = 17.
Damage Roll: 4 + 1 + 4 + 2 = 11 radiant damage.
Illia's guiding bolt strikes the bear in the head, burning away a spot of fur. The bear is outlined in glowing white light, and snarls in pain.

Illia then moves down into the gorge and ends her turn.

I move 20 feet, hopefully a better position for support and my first use of bardic inspiration, on Liun because it looks like he'll need it.

With a roaring dash, the last bear charges into the gorge at Illia and pounces on her.
Illia frantically throws a flare of light at the bear to try and distract it, giving it disadvantage on the attack roll.
Attack Roll 1: 5 + 6 = 11
Attack Roll 2: 10 + 6 = 16
Damage Roll: 5 + 1 + 4 = 10 slashing damage, and Illia must make a Strength saving throw.
Saving throw: 11 + 0 = 11
Illia falls to the ground, and the bear gets a second attack (with advantage, since she's Prone).
Attack Roll 1: 11 + 6 = 17
Attack Roll 2: 13 + 6 = 19
Damage Roll: 4 + 2 + 4 = 10 slashing damage.

yes if your wearing armor you can't cast mage armor, but most spell casters can't cast spells in normal armor

 

But I have leather armor sooo
(Yes I am proficient)
