The man is squirming on the ground. The knife is still in him, and the goblin is no longer holding it.
Stabbed dude: "You- you!"
The goblin kicks the man on the ground. The man on the ground starts crying.
You all hear the other man (George) yell out loud.
Other man: "We got rebels!"
He unsheathes his short sword and distances himself from the goblin.

@BlueSlimerino you hear what is happening above.
She lets out a sigh of relief.
"What do you think happened?"

 

I take the knife back and return to a combat stance.

 

You sure you want to bend down to the ground and retrieve a blade from a man who's actively struggling? While in front of a man who has a sword ready? Like, you might succeed anyways... >.> But you might not. xD Like, he distanced himself enough when he can hit you with his sword (longer reach) before you rush him bare handed

 

Internal Monologue: Ok, these people are getting really loud. I guess I'll just - Wait a second... do I have magic? Wait, who am I?

I'll just BSOD for a bit there while hopefully someone ooc tells me how magic works here.

Well I've been neglecting that fact due to Arya wouldn't know any of her spells... I just more of doing like, she remembers big impacting memories and lessons . . .

 

What? That would be highly reckless and clearly plagiarism. I''m highly disappointed you would stoop so low as to blatantly copy something belonging to another rp.

Actually, after the BSOD, I'm just going to have faith in things I don't know, extend an open palm, and hope something harmful blasts out and towards something I don't like.
Either my arm is going to explode or nothing's gonna happen but hey, at least I tried.

Spoiler: OOC: What is Magic

There are different groups. Words, Elementalists, and Exceptions. (All of this is subject to change. >.>)

Spoiler: Words

These people use the meaning in certain words. There are two different ways to use them. You either

1. Say them out loud which uses energy when you say it
   1. Ex. Raya's character
2. Write them down which uses energy when you write it (but not use it)
   1. Ex. Talismans. >.>

Saying them out loud makes them 'Words of Power', and the users are called 'Acolytes'. Writing them down makes them 'Runes' and the users are called 'Mystics'

Spoiler: Elementalists

These people harness the energy from areas around them. There are two different types. You either

1. Use the energy in the area, which depletes the energy in that area
   1. Ex. Using nature magic to grow a plant, while wilting the other plants nearby
2. Use internal energy, which recharges slowly
   1. Ex. Standing in a barren desert and casting nature magic, losing a charge (which you can recharge later)

Using external energy makes them 'Invocations', and the users are called 'Invokers'. Using internal energy makes them 'Spells', and the users are called 'Wizards'

Spoiler: Exceptions

This is mainly for PC's. xD Anything that I can't explain with the other two are coined as 'Exceptions'.

Spoiler: How they compare

Words use energy while elementalists channel energy. However, what this means is that words are usable everywhere (except when they can't write or talk) while elementalists are conditional. However, elementalists do not feel tired after casting many spells, under users of words.

Acolytes can pull the right spell out of a hat, but will feel tired after using it. Mystics, however, can pre-make these spells. Although they take more energy, they can hand these spells to other people. Using these will not make the Mystic feel tired. It is difficult to inscribe in rune though, and it requires concentration.

Being an Invoker makes you semi-useless in certain environments, if the required elements aren't there. But, being a Wizard, you are weaker than Invokers, and you can't fight constantly, and must recharge your energy. For Example, if they were in a forest, the Invoker could invoke so much nature magic, due to the amount of plants. They cannot, however, cast fire magic. The Wizard can do both, but less of it.

Water beats Fire and Earth. Fire beats Wood and Wind. Wood beats Water and Earth. Earth beats Wind and Fire. Wind beats Wood and Water. Void... is conditional. xD

The exact effects of these, we leave to the Users (and Fate Points. xD)

Well, it seems that Valkas is quite the aggressive one. Good to know.

New procedures: Only engage those acting aggressively towards me or Valkas. Disarm attackers of their weapons if possible, then render them incapable of combat (pretty much knocking them out, i guess), if possible.

Hurry up and get those 10 posts, you'll need it by the look of things.

The goblin leans down to take his knife back. The man with the sword (George) leaps forwards to bring the sword down onto the goblin's head. The goblin quickly rolls to the side, taking the knife with him, as the other man (Valkas) steps forward and punches the sword out of the way. The person holding the sword (George) shouts and drops the sword. People from the outer edges are pulling out weapons and coming towards the goblin.

Er, she's depressed and doesn't give a shit about life (her own life . . . she hates seeing death that doesn't really need to happen) and so she's reckless...

However, that doesn't stop her from killing when she really hates someone or just doesn't give a shit about the person she is killing's life.

What kinds of weapons are the ones I can see using?

Updated procedures:
Follow Valkas and engage those acting aggressively towards me or Valkas, but stay on guard for incoming hostiles. Disarm attackers of their weapons if possible, then render them incapable of combat (pretty much knocking them out, i guess), if possible. If enemy count increases further, warn Valkas of next action before attempting to grab him and flee.

TL;DR: Bodyguard on Valkas, render assailants unable to fight, attempt to flee with Valkas is enemies increase.

 

Actually, let me reword that.

Arya doesn't care about what happens to anyone but she'll prevent someone from dying if she doesn't see the point of their death.

However, that doesn't stop her from killing others.

And yeah, her depressed state makes her reckless.

And she doesn't care about her personal health or life at the moment so she's completely fine accepting death.

 

No no the beam doesn't work as in there is no beam :o(
Still, repeatedly stabbing the thing closest to me sounds like a reasonable action for now.
