You accidentally jump a bit too far because of the ring, landing safely in the middle of the street anyway. Maybe the ring eases the landing because it lets you jump so high? Probably, required secondary powers and all.

Oh yeah, the random passerby is both hooded and pretty old, maybe in his 60's.
I guess in comparison Matt looks to be in his 20's and rather chiseled.

I didn't realize frost giants were calculators, but it's been exactly 22 minutes 34.213 seconds since you left, current time 5:30:35, and your boat leaves tomorrow morning at exactly 6:40:29 AM.
Frigid, however, gets "around 20 minutes", and "around half past 6 in the morning, in maybe 12 hours".

In a oddly enough, you can't tell if it comes from the Han or the newly minted ghost. Did both of them say it? Or none at all?

Wow, he's lying. Not in a harmful way, just a pleading 'please don't push this' kind of way. Doubtful he even meant for you to fall for it.
Doesn't stop him from being a terrible liar, though.

Every guard in the city's rushing towards said bodies, and every sane person is running as far away from them as possible. Your sunset passes without much note, until you find yourself in what looks like the richer parts of the city.

It's maybe a rushed 10 minute run, along with quite a few guards that also seem to have been sent to the area.
As you enter further into the massive plume of smoke, the area around you turns more and more into what could only really be described as a warzone. Buildings have been leveled, massive portions of what looks to be the city wall are haphazardly strewn where entire blocks used to be, and occasionally you can see sillouettes of things that are definitely not human guardsmen in the smoke.

You're extremely close to the center now, maybe a block away, and Kae finds herself looking up at the shape of some utterly massive rock monster, maybe 100 feet tall. It doesn't look that active, but every so often it roars, or catapults some massive piece of rock, and at its feet lies the graveyard of people who clearly tried to fight it.
