I'm wondering what the probability distribution curves look like on identified item stats.

All items are stored in Wynncraft's databases with a single stat, e.g. "10" for xpBonus.

If it is stored with a "10" for xpBonus, the identified item could have anything between 3 and 13 xpBonus.

However, is this a weighted distribution ?

    ID RANGES

    You have a base number.

You multiply the base by 0.3 (minimum) and 1.3 (maximum) to get your ID ranges.

    Example:

    Base ID: 10

    Minimum: 10*0.3=3

    Maximum: 10*1.3=13

    Range: 3 to 13

For Negative ID's, you multiply the base by 0.7 (maximum) and 1.3 (minimum) to get ID ranges.

Keep the numbers positive when you do calculations, then add the negative sign after.

    Example:

    Base ID: 10

    10*.7= 7

    10*1.3= 13

    Range: -13 to -7

Which means that the average value of a stat is less than its base?
