Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He tries telepathically contacting her.
"Heya?"

 

He winds up linking to Miorah.
“Emerald’s busy at the moment, can I help you in her stead?” She asks.

 

“May-a-be. I wanna fight again.”

 

Rose soon finds a lake, hundreds of frogs audibly croaking, mixing with the sound of raindrops hitting the water.

 

"Aha, right. How is that game getting along?"

 

"Just give me a minute, I usually work with silence."

Rose stops to sit near the base of a tree, content.

"Front lines or Chronoseum?"

 

"Right. Sorry. "

 

A few minutes later, she returns with a cloth board and a bunch of red and black circle fabric pieces.
"I'm not going to teach you how to play, but you're welcome to make up your own games. Just try and keep it down a bit, okay?" She asks, setting everything on a table.

 

Shortly after sitting down, Rose feels something slither over her. A huge colourful snake slithers across her legs, tongue occasionally poking out. It turns its head to look at Rose.

 

She glances at its body for a bit, but returns to looking towards the lake.

 

The snake slithers past Rose.

Lilypads and algae can be seen in patches on the lake, and birds occasionally swoop down to try and catch fish. However, it's hard to see whats inside the lake due to all the rain disturbing the surface.

 

She looks for life signatures in the lake, fairly content.

 

There appears to be a lot of fish and aquatic life in the lake, but nothing sentient. It appears Praecantatia keeps her islands fairly restricted.

 

Rose glances around for other snakes nearby before getting up and seeing if there’s another path to follow.

 

There seems to be ways out all around the lake, and a few snakes are visible slithering into bushes.

 

"Sure. Put it on the table and we can get started."

 

"Ch-"
Pause.
"Either'll do."

 

She walks halfway around the lake and continues on.

"Chronoseum preferred?"

She leaves everything on the table, moves it out to the lobby, then heads into the back room again.

 

"...Not really. Chronoseum's got me hanging from a thread with how it limits me."

 

"Okay. Sit down, sweety."
