Slavery of your own race is outlawed. Slavery between races that you have relations to is also outlawed (normally). But slavery from those groups that are your enemies? That's fine.

Alesol attempts to open the crate. After a while, he kicks it in anger and the crate gains a new hole. .-.
"Thank you!"
You both see a feminine hand pop out, followed by a head. Her ears give away the fact that it's an elf.
She sees you two and freezes. (For future notice, elves and humans don't like each other. >.> Elves don't like [most] goblins either.)
After a moment of silence, she continues to crawl out. Upon standing up, she dusts herself off.
She has long silver hair, reaching to her knees. She wears a think, revealing dress, that does little to hide her pale skin, paler than most elves should be. She looks at you two with her blue eyes and then bows her head.
"Than- Thank you..."

 

Valkas tries not to be noticed.

 

Alesol: “Now, what exactly were you doing in the box? I have a slight feeling I know, but it’s better to not... misunderstand.”

 

She's paying more attention to Alesol.
"Um..."
She fidgts a bit.
"I think I should go now."
She starts moving towards the exit.

 

I’ll move to block the exit, non threateningly preferably.

Alesol: “Hold on a moment. While I mean no harm, I can’t exactly... take responsibility for this incident if I don’t have prior information. Now, I’d like you to confirm why you were packed away in the box like cargo?”

 

"Did-didn't you- and him-"
"Isn't that- your job?"
She's looking off to the side and down, not at any of you two.

 

Alesol: “My job is to guard cargo. I know nothing of what may be transported. As for the goblin, he has nothing to do with this. He simply happens to be here.”

"Who- who are you two?"

 

Alesol: “I go by Alesol Taic, and I’m nothing more than a simple guard.”

 

"Can- Can I-"
She blushes a bit.
"Can I get something to wear first?" (aside from the stupidly revealing thin cloth. >.>)

I’ll toss her my coat (at least, I assume I have a coat).

Alesol: “Wear that for now. I guess you should follow me for the time being. At least, until you find something else to wear.”

 

She grabs it and nods.
(If you start moving, she'll timidly follow you, staying at least 10 steps away though. >.>)

 

@Azura, can I have the name (and description) of 7 different runes that have an instant ability? Basically, spells that do something as soon as you use them, and never require you to control them.

Well, let's look around for something... less revealing for her to wear. I'll also keep an eye on her and Valkas (assuming I notice him).

On a side note, about how much money would you say I've made working over the years?

 

If you're only looking around the storage room, you don't see anything for her. As for Valkas? He's standing off to the side, close enough to the door to escape quickly and far enough from the crates that you don't think he can steal without you noticing.

She nods timidly. [Hold on, thinking of what language I want elfs to be based on. >.> ... It's going to be... Korean. Probably. >.<]

You hear the sounds of footsteps come near. It was the guy who was sleeping on deck (the other guard for Alesol).
He takes a look at Alesol, and then the goblin (you) and then the elf. He slowly pulls out two daggers.
"Alesol, I thought better of you..."

I have specified that Raya and Valkas have something that seems like money on them. I never specified though. :p
For you, I'll give a description if you ever decide to check (and an exact amount if you decide to count. >.>)

Are weighted gloves a thing in your world? Cause they seem like the weapon of choice for Alesol.

As for the money issue, it seems now’s not the time to check.
