It's getting darker. You can barely make out something 25 steps ahead of you.
But then a light flashes on. A few actually. Although they don't really help you see, at least you won't bump into a tree or someth-
...
Ouch. That's a tree you just walked into.
"Watch where you're going kid."
Wow. You must have hit yourself preety hard. Trees shouldn't talk from what you remember. Then again, that lack of memories makes you think twice. You rub your face for a moment and look up.
It's a man wearing black (trench coat, not that your character would the exact type of coat it is). He glares down at you.
"Scram."
Oh. It's not a tree afterall.

 

"Sorry sir I didn't see you" I move out of the way and keep walking

 

His eyes follow you as you leave. You try to get out of his sight and turn the corner. You lean against the wall, sweating. Something tells you that he was dangerous... That he was ready to kill...
You hear footsteps receding. How long was he waiting before he left? And... you can hear them? Are you sure he didn't mean for you to hear them? Or is he actually walking away now?
But before you decide you hear a grunt and then a dull thud.

 

I look around to see where the thud came from

(Up, down, forward, behind the turn, etc)

 

The direction the grunt cane from

 

That would be back around the corner.

Poking your head out from behind the corner, you can't see anything. It's just dark.
Darkness everywhere. Except for those lights.
Cautiously, you take a step forward. There's a small splash. You hold your breath and everything is silent.
After a moment, you move forwards again. There's yet another splash. It didn't seem like the noise was your's though?
Your breath catches again.
At this point one of the lights decides to dim, before flashing brightly and dimming down again.
You can see the man you met before lying on the ground. As for the splashes? Blood. The pool continues to expand at an alarming rate.
That wasn't all.
There's a dagger on the ground next to the man. It seemed that the assailent dropped it.
The light blinks once more.
And now, you can see a little girl (about 11) shivering against the wall. She looks terrified and the blood covered half her face and most of her dress.
She doesn't seem to notice you, coiled up in a ball like that.

 

From smelling flood my feral instinct start to kick up a bit, but I try to resist it and run to to girl asking
"Are you all right? What happened here" my eyes look like an angry wolf currently

 

She freeze for a moment.
"Who- who are you?" She wimpers.
Her arm trembles.

 

"My names William, I mean you no harm"

A guy pulls on your hand as he runs. Snapping you out of your blank thoughts.
"Come on, hurry!" He yells quietly (that... is a thing, right?)
You subconciously run with him.
"What are you doing standing there?!?"
"Hurry, hurry, hurry."
He's obviously panicing.
You have no idea how he knows where he's going. Even if the little lights stop him from crashing into things, it's not like they lead the way for him.

1. How close are you to her?
2. Where are you looking?
3. Do you have any other reactions to the blood?
4. Are you still standing in the blood?
5. Did you check how the man was first or did you rush to the girl?

Also I think I might want to add a flaw and maybe it also count s as an ability
I can turn into a werewolf once per day and control my actions, but if I'm exposed to long to fresh smell of blood, become very angry or exposed to too much pain I will start to turn into a werewolf without any control and go into a mindless rampage attacking anyone that I see. If I enter a rampage I will have no memory of what happened when I was a wolf

 

1. How many times can this trigger?
2. How do you turn back?
3. Your blood?
4. It is a flaw... but can't you just stab a dude and then turn into a werewolf? Or stab yourself?

"... Okay."
She stands up and smiles. You feel a piecing pain in your leg and see her swinging a dagger at your neck.
It the same type of dagger that was next to the man. Although you should probably stop having random thoughts and instead focus on living.

I plan on not making this character fight unless he is forced to, and it wouldn't work if I stabbed myself since I don't consider myself a danger to myself

Cool. If you go berserk, there's going to be a wierd combination of you and me xontrolling you character, is that fine? xD
Also, how do you plan on wording it, to add it to the timeline?

You step back into the blood.
"But sad for you."
She grins.
"I want to kill you."
She tugs with her hand and the dagger in your leg wrenches itself back towards her.
You yell in pain for a moment.
You can see your dark red blood mixed with some... green liquid falling off of the blade.
She waves at you.
"See yah."
She turns to leave.

 

“...What are we running from,” Raya asks abruptly. “Where are we running to...?”

 

"Home you dummy!" (still yelling quietly. xD)
"It's dark now! It's dange-"
He lunges backwards into you and you both tumble to the ground.
He ends up ontop of you and holds a finger to your lips, while staring straight ahead.

I'll do that tomorrow. I'm on mobile and my phone is very unresponsive and thinks I push the wrong letter constantly, so it's hard to write something long

I pull out the dagger and run away from the body before I go berserk

 

She already pulled out the dagger btw.
A weak voice comes out.
"The... dagger... poiso-"
A knife finds it way into his neck.
"Shut up."
The knife flys back into the shadows.
A knife lands into the ground next to you and you here someone groan. The footsteps quickly recedes (this knife was left behind).

 

I know that I myself can't be trusted with a knife so I don't touch it, buy I try to get away before I'm out of control
