I cast hold person on him

 

I cast invisibility on myself and run away once again. If I can I also cast lightning at one of the golem's legs if he has any.

 

I once almost did something like this and can tell how much fun this is going to be.

"On one hand, this thing's going to destroy the city if nobody stops it, and I shudder to think of what it'll be able to do once it finishes absorbing those magic items. On the other hand, we cannot stop it, at least for now, so if you're not hiding some ultimate power I'd say running is a great option."

He is now held for the next 1 minute max (10 rounds). In 2 rounds, he will have a chance to break free of your spell.
I'll probably just roll dice if he isn't dead by then.

Opponent:

Known Abilities: Makeshift Basic Attack, Double Strikes.
Weapon: Shortsword [+1]

Current Status: Frozen, with his face in an "oh shi-" position. Looks like he heard you casting before you finished.

Your invisibility ranks up, as it probably should have already with your mad back-to-back casting.
Invisibility II:
Become invisible to the eye for 5 minutes. Invisibility does not fool truesight, and ends if caster attacks.

The golem's destroyed with your lighting, and it is indeed a golem - no elemental core pops out or shatters.
You abscond ridiculously quickly for an old man, and finally make your way to somewhere where the sound of collapsing buildings isn't deafening.

 

For the 2 rounds
First round I cast spiritual agony
Second round flame strike
And after he is dead I loot his body

 

Well I was a mercenary.

I go look for a place where I can heal myself.

 

I think only my knowledge persona knows of the other personas. >.>
(Needs bs reason to hold amulet, hold on, I'm generating one. >.<)

Amulet flashes more, as if protesting. >.>

School's out, and it's time for my first vacation since thanksgiving.

Well, at least I'm home now.
Guess I'll post now, in roughly 7 hours, and then once when I go to sleep, maybe 6 hours after that? That might work.

Nothing in sight, at least. Maybe some magic shops in the area might have had something, but even the buildings that aren't destroyed have been long since abandoned.
As you leave the street, however, you run into some guards. Oh hell no,. Looks like you'll be here a litt-

Either way, you head out from there, in only a few minutes finding yourself at the docks. Maybe shipments coming in here might -
The docks are on fire.
You backpedal away from that, wandering the city for an hour or two as the sun sets. The giant monster-thing has been out of sight for quite a while now, and the fire has been reduced to a glow on the horizon. The people are marginally less fearful, and you can actually calm down for once Finally, the journey ends with you arriving in front of an actual apothecary. There's an old man, ironically still younger than you, taking a nap on a chair out front where he's set up some kind of makeshift clinic, along with 7 people in various states of injury.
The younger old man stirs.
"Hmm? Bruises? That's a new one."

I'd say always consider yourself an exception unless specifically noted :o)

"I don't even know if it can hurt us, nya~"
By now, the amulet could give someone a seizure if they were sensitive enough.

You nearly crash into several people as you dash back, an action that takes maybe 5 minutes. When you return, the docks and a few buildings on the waterfront are still on fire, although most of the townsfolk have escaped by now.

You do a roll into what looks to be a large bedroom with its door closed. Sounds like someone's outside, but they didn't hear you come in. Whoever they are, they'r clearly trying to be unheard - your ears are just better. You can't deny the smell of steel, either.

As for the room itself, a large 4-poster bed is sideways on one wall, with a jewelry desk on the opposite ends of the room. A small lamp lies without fuel on the desk, along with a half-written letter. The ink's barely dried, and it's maybe a few minutes since it was written.
At the foot of the bed, on the wall with the window, lies a nestled stone chest with maybe 20 padlocks.
