    "Oh... Can I... help?"
I'm itching for another round of the amulet again... .-.
For future reference, those amulet skills were rushed. They should have ranks as well. >.< I would like to ask which ones I have access to atm?

Nope. I'm probably going to solely put the blame on yesterday past me, to get away from the fact that yesterday past me was still totally me and is thus completely responsible for that oversight.

You trek further into what's clearly the rich side of town, predictably finding nothing but one robber in the middle of a job, and even he doesn't notice you while he scrambles into an unlocked second-story window.

I had a ward on myself so if it broke I cast it again then I go try to find the next member and cast spiritual agony on them with a follow up flame strike

That transformation lasted less than half an hour. I've been skipping over a lot of the walking, but this is a city, and it's been an hour at the least.

Ah, and yes, the ward took the strike. Sorry about that. No damage, but it is broken and the recast goes as normal.
The person in the next room is loud, so you ambush them and predictably pull off the same thing you did here. Attacked between your spells, ward's bro-
    *BOOM*
No clue what exactly that sound was, but it was probably thrown rubble destroying something somewhere near you. The bulk of the death squad dying earlier clearly showed that this place isn't really safe, but this confirms it beyond reasonable doubt.

You find another robber soon enough (wealthy people + guards gone isn't a good combo for robber repellent), and this one actually hears you.
    "Uuuh... what?"

You move up the street, swiftly passing by what's clearly some dramatic fight scene you don't really care about. More rubble hits behind you, and -
"Dez? What are you doing down here again?"
    - Some guy in a black cloak.

0 and 1, if you're talking about amulet skills -> spirit spells.
    Unless I'm utterly confused?

"Uuhh.. well... Everything I know about elementals say they have a magic core that keeps them functioning, but this thing's way too big to be an elemental, right? Can't see a core anywhere. Maybe it's some kind of summon?"

Can I tell based on the magic if it has a core?
"Um... what does the core look like?"
    Also, I say towards Han
    "What is it doing now?"

Spirit spells are spells that I know AND can cast.
Amulet skills are skills I'll only use with my second persona. This is meant for weapon combat.
Then there was one more that requires an item and a few of my memories. I don't have that yet.

I think le head tilt of confusion may be a stolen gag, but it 100% fits here. I'll just roll with it.

"The core... hmm... sphere maybe 1-2 feet wide, in the chest, which is... I dunno 45 feet off the ground? Look, elementals don't usually have enough rock to fully cover the thing, but if this one has one then I don't see it.

The description mostly matches with the sphere you see, with the 'small' exception that it's 10 times larger.

    "What the fU-"
You keep walking, doing something like a tony stark pose while the entire neighborhood gets ruined by falling rubble behind you.
It isn't over yet, as more ordinance lands in a building near you and wait why is that rock getting closer to you?
A wall of earth blasts you up and on to your back. It doesn't hurt too bad, but apparently you have an opponent now.

    Opponent:
    Humanoid Rock... thing
    Vitality: 30 [30]
Known Abilities: Wall of Earth? [2 Dmg]
    Weapon: N/A
    Armor: Rocky Exterior, -3
    Current Status: Advancing somewhat menacingly
    You:
    Vitality: 5 [3]
    Weapons: N/A
    Options:
Offensive Spells: Sleep, Lightning II [7 Dmg],
Utility Spells: Invisibility I, Alter Self I, Charm Person I, Color Change, Delayed Bomb I [Target is too large, spell will fail]
    Defensive Spells: N/A

    Loot:
Death Squad Knife of Ambushing [+1, +3 on surprise attack]
    Blood Red Bandanna
Metal Gauntlet [-1 Armor Rating, +0 Attack]
    Clothes
    [22] GC

You hear the other 3 in the streets sounding like they're being killed by your two teammates, and a new person run past and stop to fight something maybe 20 feet away.
Matt: "-UCK IS THIS!? DEZ, ACTUAL DEZ, WHATEVER, GET DOWN HERE!"

"Heyy.... uuh.. I'm sort of in the middle of something, and the guards are gonna stop being distracted soon enough... soo.."

Yeah that shit's broken forever, apparently. I tried even deleting everything and rewriting the link, but it's staying like that.

    Head tilt in confusion
"Oh... it looks smaller to me?"
I describe to him the size and color of the sphere, as well as where it is.
    "Um... does that help?"
o, rip. Is that line just too long?

Unless I missed something, not a single person (who is still in this RP) who uses non-spell combat has had the a battle where they used skills.

The closest we got was the mouse having combat befotr the system or Kae getting stabbed in the gut with no battle...

    Wait, no.
    There.
    2 Multishots
    Summoned alot of arrow
    3/2 Flame Aura
    1 Flane Strike

Sure, I did it in Tsu's reply, but here's a link to the Spell/sKill Counter I put together. Oh yeah, I have a definitive way of ranking now, too, so you might actually want to look at that.
Yes the caps that way is both intentional and a terrible pun and kills by skills sound too much like kill bill

Oh, sorry for the unclear language, what you're seeing is the larger one, not his description. Assuming you say that same thing, but large instead of small:

"Wait. You mean it's that core? The one that the old guy on the council sent us? But that thing was way too huge to get powered by ambient magic! Besides, the magic just stopped working for some reason, it didn't just supercharge!"

His face pales, despite not having any blood in it in the first place.

"An elemental that big can probably just stuff magic items into its core and get stronger.... and it just absorbed a magic academy...."

The beast roars again, and you can hear it throwing more of the city wall and ground around it, destroying the entire area bit by bit. Still hasn't really moved, though.
Really, the alarming part is that smaller versions of it seem to be falling off of its body and moving autonomously. They haven't noticed you, but begin slaughtering their way through the very few living mages.

You prepare to leave via the window you came in, being rather unluckily ambushed from behind. Looks like someone was staying back. Their leader, maybe? It was the person you faced in that one inn a few hours ago.
You're hit by double strikes used on a makeshift basic attack. The first strike destroys your ward, and the second one hits you for a plainly survivable 1 damage.

    Opponent:

    Drake
    Vitality: 12 [12]
Known Abilities: Makeshift Basic Attack, Double Strikes.
    Weapon: Shortsword [+1]
    Armor: N/A
    Current Status: Still assassinating you
    You:
    Vitality: 10 [8]
    Weapons: Violin [+1], Shortsword [+1]
    Options:
Attack: High Pitch, Higher Pitch, Flame Strike II, Quicksand I, Blade of Wind I, Spiritual Agony I
Self-Support: Narcissism (Encouraging Words), Distracting Words, Driven By Music, Mockery, Basic Illusion, Invisibility
Defend: General Ward I, Hold Person, Counterspell

It's clear from this vantage that an entire section of the docks is on fire, and a corner of the city appears to be smoking and rumbling.
Yeah, the guard's gonna be busy for a while. Either that or this is going to be another riverthrone.
Not many thieves seem to have taken the opportunity yet, and there are a few houses with the lights off.
Heading towards the nearest one, you find a house and scout out a few possible ways in: A second floor balcony on an easily climbable wall, a large, probably smashable first floor window, a set of back stairs going to a roof entrance, and the back door, which someone was stupid enough to leave open.

You can hear some activity inside the house, but most of the lights are off and it's not nearly as much as some other homes on the street.

Your lightning bolt streaks towards the beast, ripping chunks off of it as it fail to charge towards you. It just launches another rock wall at you (just imagine some ice snake), tripping you over.

    Opponent:
    Earth Golem
    Vitality: 30 [13]
Known Abilities: Wall of Earth [2 Dmg]
    Weapon: N/A
    Armor: Rocky Exterior, -3
    Current Status: Advancing quite menacingly
    You:
    Vitality: 5 [1]
    Weapons: N/A
    Options:
Offensive Spells: Sleep, Lightning II [7 Dmg],
Utility Spells: Invisibility I, Alter Self I, Charm Person I, Color Change, Delayed Bomb I [Target is too large, spell will fail]
    Defensive Spells: N/A

I'll put the flame aura down in the spell counter as a 2, and also probably go through kills when school lets out tomorrow and I have time because the combat system is based on that, not skill use.

    "Oh..."
    "Do we need to... run?"
    Head-tilt lel.
"Or should we be helping... everyone?"

I think I found the two personas (and there may be a third/fourth later. >.<)
    1. The original but more stuck-up. She's all about knowledge, being real, getting all the information. Less emotions, more knowledge.
    2. She's... air headed. The least informed. Acts cute(?) to all situation, even ones regarding lives. Emotions, but just kinda... stupid. .-.
