In that case Elzen asks anyone from the party excluding Lycan that if they are with us. Also we are basically stuck unless we get an answer because it wouldn't make sense for Lycan/Elzen to do the talking when we haven't met her before.

So for the sake of continuing the adventure could Liun just make it to the church without any troubles so Knaal being afk doesn't slow us down.

Here's my idea: I'll roll 2d20. If the total is 23 or higher, then you get a random encounter. Otherwise, you make it there without incident.

Niryes is with your group.

As you go through traffic, you find several people fighting in a small city square. Some of them are armored and relatively uniform, but others are wearing less "reputable" outfits (and have two angry-looking dogs with them). I'll show you everything on the battle map in a moment.

Elzen asks Niryes: "Do you know what the woman that gave you the task to go to the mine looks like?"

 

The armored people might be city guards, and they appear to be fighting what might be a gang. They are all too concentrated on the battle to notice you.

 

Do they have some sort of uniforms? If yes do they look like the clothes that the dead body was wearing?

 

The guards have normal-looking armor, and the gang members (except for the dogs) all have red mouth-covery-thingies. (See the Houndmaster's token for what I'm talking about.) The clothes are of the same quality and roughly the same style, but that's no indication of them being from the same gang.
