"I don't want the bird. But I also don't want him to have it."
I say in a low tone.

 

The person disregards your comment completely, and turns to Rikane.

???: "Affirmative. Please leave her alone, she's been through enough tonight."
The person almost instinctively after hearing you say that, steps forward a bit.

 

I fly up to the space by the rooftop and see what's going on.

 

"Wait a hot second,"
I fly to the bird and try lifting it up.
"Sh- it attacked us."

 

You see the first description of the person, and you hear him say this:
EDIT: You also feel a strong sense of fear once you spot them.

The person steps forward with a loud stomp, the building shakes slightly.
???: "Please."

 

"I like that mask even less, now."
I drift over the edge of the building with the bird.
"Why do you want this thing, anyways?"

 

At this point, Rikane will just see how the other two act.
Rikane: "While I don't really care who gets the bird, try not to... provoke the guy, you two. Something seems... off about him, and I'd rather we not gather more attention than we already have."

 

"Oh, we know. I'll tell you about it later."

 

???: "That is not important. Please return from where you came. I do not want any damage done."

 

"I don't either. I don't really care about the bird. I'm more interested in you."

 

???: "Leave now before it is too late. I need to see her."

 

I guess it's time to leave. Let's see if Pinky happens to know anything about the 5-star Eye.
Rikane: "Well, as long as you don't intend to harm, I'll be on my way."
I'll employ the 6d6 express jump off the roof and prepare to land.

 

"...Tell me two... mildly intriguing facts about yourself."
I stall as I check for some way to tell if the bird thing is still alive.
"Y'know, you seem nice. I'll make it one. One mildly intriguing fact."

 

The bird is clearly a goner.

???: "I do not care to talk about myself. Your friend complied, now please move along. It is past curfew, but I believe you know that."
The fear intensifies, the mask seems to swirl and engulf the surroundings but you can tell that you're simply hallucinating.

"Then talk 'bout that mask. Whazzat 'bout?"
I try stalling more as I focus on the bird and sink one healing die (rolled 2) into the bird just to make sure.

 

The bird-creature isn't affected at all by the healing, but the violet/crimson gas coming out of it increases and grows.
???: "I believe you already know, since you are still here asking me unnecessary questions. I will repeat myself: leave."

 

"Buh whut ef I don' whanna."
I sarcastically try to diffuse the situation as I drift back over the building with the bird, nearing the man(?).

 

Fear grows as the person steps towards you.
???: "It is almost time. Fly downwards, now."

 

"Alright, big fella. I get the feeling I'll be seeing you around."
I set the bird precariously on the ledge and fly down to the ground.

 

I think Daniel goes down too, unless he doesn't.
