Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"How did you wind up in Gaia's Gardens?" The fire guardian inquires, curious.


"Got it, thanks." I say, heading off toward the stasis room.

 

“I was exiled for feeding my master false information. He wound up massacring countless far because he ignored my pleas and listened to another advisor. I fled here, to this reality, and Lady Tenebrae said that Lady Gaia would be the perfect god to turn to for my memories of fire not as a destructive force, but as life and comfort.”


Avis chirps a bit, peeking over from the top of a chamber on the fourth story.

 

"I can say that's true. I remember it being painful to watch humans burn down forests to make way for their own greed. Fire is a destructive element, but also one of creation." The fire guardian says.


I fly up to the fourth story, flying over to Avis.

 

“There’s one advantage of being a pyromancer that can use life magic - fireproof gardens. I don’t know why more people don’t try them. There are a lot of nice plants that can only grow in or on a volcano.”


Avis just watches you from the top of the chamber, Artemis completely thawed and now breathing.

 

"They're also very useful in alchemy," The fire guardian adds, "Their fireproof properties can be passed on if extracted properly."


I sit and wait for Artemis to regain consciousness, watching.

 

“Ah, there are others here?”


She comes to shortly after thawing, Avis cooing once before watching silently.

 

"Haven't you seen them? They're pretty common foliage here." The fire guardian asks.


I get up as Artemis looks for a way out of the chamber.

 

"She probably has her ways. You shouldn't ask me about that."

 

He makes his way through into the castle room.

 

"I haven't looked around too much. Mostly a matter of I've been here a few hours tops."


Staircase aside, the ways out include three doors to different halls.

"Fair enough."

Nobody's inside... well, there is one person, but they're asleep.

 

"Well, there's a burning lion." The fire guardian says, pointing to a red flower with an orange center.


OOC: (I meant like the pod Artemis is being kept in, like looking for a button release or door to slide if it's closed)

 

Voidfiller just looks for any exits, going to them.

 

“Hm...”


OOC: It’s open.

There’s four large windows and three doors.

 

Voidfiller checks if there’s a way to open the windows, or if they’re already open.

 

The fire guardian looks around for any other foliage he can point out.

"Oh, here's some charthorn." The fire guardian says.


Artemis steps out of her pod, before hugging me. The pair of us seem to exchange a silent reunion, both of us tearing up a bit.

 

"Yep."

He makes a 'plop' sound as he says the p.

 

“Any gardeners here?” Rose asks.


Avis cooes a bit more before hopping towards the three cryostasis chambers Sgavrinn’s kept in.


Xlentia peeks in the realm of shadows.
“Lady Tenebrae? Emerald said you didn’t get my gift?”

The guards step aside as you reach the village again.
“Well, nice meeting you. Hopefully you like your suit.”

Two are already open.

 

"Did you see it aswell. Jeez, I guess you weren’t kidding when you said everyone saw it."

 

“Yes, I wasn’t joking. Literally everyone’s been asking who the married couple is.”

 

He looks out of one and jumps out of it, growing wings and flying off.
