Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Rose nods.
"I'd appreciate that. I hope my age doesn't make me a disappointment." She says, finally relaxing as she takes a small sip of the tea.

 

The tea is strong, yet relaxing. Sweet herbs flavour the drink, and everything seems to become a little bit more serene.

"How old are you?" Gaia asks, smiling.

 

"I celebrated my 25th century a few months back, but I've been reborn... probably a few million times."

 

"Exactly. Did you see the clothes aswell?"

 

"Your body looks awfully young." Gaia compliments happily.

 

"You're who those are for? You won't be disappointed. Your wife to be is tiny, though."

Rose blushes.
"Th-thanks."

 

Gaia sips her tea calmly, the sound of birdsong quite comforting. In the distance, Rose can hear wind chimes singing as the wind blows.

 

She smiles, closing her eyes and sitting back.
"I missed this calm..."

 

A cool breeze flows over Rose, the rustling of tree leaves mixing with the birdsong. For a moment, everything seems to slow down; time seems to take a rest from ticking by.

 

She enters a meditative state, the air around her cooling off significantly.

 

Gaia seems to meditate with her, flowers beginning to grow around her.

 

Frost begins to form on the chair Rose sits on as a smile slowly spreads across her face.

 

Plant life appears to be able to sprout from the frost, white flowers and shrubs growing along the edges of it.

 

Rose opts to come out of meditation to finish her tea, looking a bit surprised with the frost.

 

Gaia continues to meditate. Rose's tea remains warm, despite the temperature change.

 

After she finishes her tea, she tries holding a heated fingernail near one of the plants that grew near the frost.

 

The plant begins to wither, not used to hot temperatures.

 

She takes her hand away, relaxed and now weary.

 

"You can rest here as I contact Praecantatia, if you'd like." Gaia offers, though she keeps her eyes closed and her stance unmoving.

 

"I have nowhere else to go, so... thank you for everything."
