Resource Pack??????

can someone give me a link to the latest resourse pack (texture pack) please?????

because im getting pretty large lagg spikes when its appling the texture pack when i try and log in a world

I wouldn't trust any of those links since most downloads over X size can't be scanned for viruses. Follow the tutorials. Also, try using the forum search tool to look up how to get the resource pack BEFORE making an entire thread on it. This is already a well documented problem.

 

Yo some peeps are actually helpful. Also just downloading it is definitely faster than going through a whole guide.

 

Wow lemme sit here for 30-60 seconds to download the resource pack (again) and navigate to your resource packs folder (AGAIN) or open a folder and rename a file ".zip" and drag it into resource packs folder in 15-30 seconds. :THONKING:

 

See, you could click the mediafire link, click download, then move it into your resourcepack folder (less than a minute honestly)

follow your (admittedly helpful) guide that takes upwards of five minutes for someone who hasn't done something before.

I get that you want to help, but putting down an easier and faster method just to advertise your thread seems kinda low to me

 

I gain nothing tangible from helping others, so yes, I'm advertising my nonmonetized completely unnecessary guide. I put time and effort into being helpful *gasp*. I'm really the bad guy now amirite?

Look, all I want is for people to know that there's a safer way that is just as easy, if not faster (depending on internet speed). It is intended to be helpful for this exact problem. Also, that thread is supposed to fix the problem this person was talking about

which a mod (resource loader) that I suggest to install through a 100% verified safe source (twitch launcher) can solve. The thread is just a a step by step guide on how to set up your launcher. None of what I did was necessary, but I did it because I like wynncraft and don't want people to get driven off by stupid technical difficulties. If you aren't experiencing issues, then this guide isn't for you. I only linked it because it was relevant to the topic, but OFC I was just advertising it, right? *heavy sarcasm throughout post if you couldn't catch it^^^*

 

your way might be safer sure, but it takes more steps and definitely longer (regardless of internet speed, the file is too small for that to be a factor unless your source of internet is McDonalds) than just downloading it .-.

 

you'd be surprised who I've known and what internet speeds they get. All I can say, account for worst case scenarios (like 10 mbps or less download speeds, especially in rural areas)

Go to the resource pack and delete the texture for tall grass. You won’t see tall grass but it’s better than seeing those irritating pink blocks.
