What Is The Current Year In The World Of Wynn

I keep hearing about events that happen in game during specific years, lots of mention of when things were founded, or during flashbacks when they occurred. Like, "The past echos around you, 823 AP (after portal)", well okay, but I have no idea what year it is now in the Wynn universe, so all the dates really don't mean anything to me, does anyone know what year it is?

I really love the Wynn lore so I'd like to have some context as to how long ago 800 -850 AP actually is, etc.

0 AP is 1000 years ago, so 800 AP would be 200 years ago. The portal appeared 1000 years ago, and AP is After Portal

Spoiler: Spoilers for the quest Fate of the Fallen.

In the quest "Fate of the Fallen" you go back in time to the year 589 AP which according to that quest is 411 years ago meaning we are in the year 1000 AP.

 

But I'm pretty sure it isn't 1000 AP, somewhere it looked like it was 1018 AP or something...

Ok, thanks everyone, side note, anyone know what year Bob was born? On the wiki it says something like "10 years after the nemract miners wrought the nether curse on the wynn province" so is that 10 AP? Was Bob's life really that long ago, everyone talks like he just died maybe a decade ago so I find that hard to believe since he only lived to about 70-75.

Sorry if my questions are stupid, I just take really long breaks from playing Wynncraft and then play for like a week or three at a time so the entirety of the lore is never super clear in my memory, and my highest level character is 93 so if any of my questions are answered in the last few quests I wouldn't know about it.

Yeah, he's 140 years old.

 

Unfortunately the Wiki is really outdated in many areas, especially when it comes to all the old lore that still lurks on there. So ya, 10 years ago is not correct any longer.

He died in 984 AP.

He was 130 years old.

Well, "frumans," but we're practically gods.

- We don't permanently die like how Bob did.
- We've managed to cross multiple provinces in less than a year and solved practically all issues revolving around quests within a year.
- We're somehow able to do so much as opposed to everything else.
- We're capable of going to both heaven and hell (well, the arena which is currently the other side of the portal) without being affect by corruption, back and forth between time without having any side affects, etc.
