Liun:"I'm sorry to hear that"

 

Innkeeper: "(yawns)"
Innkeeper: "So? Are you going to buy a room? If you aren't, get out."

 

Liun:"How much for one?"

 

Knaal:"Can I ask you a question? Is the priestess still here?"

 

Innkeeper: "At this point? I don't give a damn."

You're just randomly saying that out on the street?

 

Liun:"So its on the house?"

 

Innkeeper: "Sure."

 

Liun:"Thank you"
I go to an empty room and go to sleep

 

No I followed Liun to the inn.

 

Okay.

Innkeeper: "She's probably over at the temple of Saint Nadia."

 

Do I know where that is?

 

Elzen takes everything but the cloak and checks whether the dust and necklace are magical, rolls(arcana): 15, Nat 20. He then reads the note(can read goblin) and goes into the inn.

The dust is slightly magical, and the necklace has no magic.

It's not actually a note, but a scrap of parchment with a light blue rune on it. The paper feels soft and almost ethereal to the touch.

You go into the inn. Knaal is talking with the innkeeper, who's a tired-looking human.

Arcana for knowing what it(paper and rune) is: 20(not nat) wow I'm getting lucky rolls. Also Elzen walks up to the bar and starts listening to Knaal's conversation

 

It's probably in the nicer part of town (which still isn't that nice, but...)

It seems like a weak magical item. Arcana checks, no matter how good your rolls are, can't do much more than that.

You hear the innkeeper saying...
Innkeeper: "She's probably over at the temple of Saint Nadia."

 

Elzen says: "Sorry to interrupt you guys but I found this" and shows the note, "do you know what it is?". He also uses his researcher feat to know where he would be able to find information about what it is.

 

What note?

 

The magical one with the rune.
